elvis15
Why would that be a bad thing? Virtanen is never going to be a PP QB - he's the trigger man That's like saying Vrbata should be on the 2nd unit because everything on the 1st unit goes through Henrik Sedin... Yup, if they wanted him to be a PP QB, they would have been better to just pick up Nylander. But as far as this hypothetical re-draft is concerned, don't forget if players like Pasternak hadn't been drafted they wouldn't have come to the AHL/NHL. Their season this year might have been very different considering. Players like Nylander and Pasternak may still have come over - possibly to junior though - but the situations would have most likely been a continuation of their previous year. Guest Dasein
Fall: Haydn Fleury. Huge drops in production, for an offensive dman go from 46 points in his draft year down to 28 is alarming. Especially when the quality of his teammates actually improved and he was the only downtrending player - going from 46 to 28 is alarming, but the fact that he also went from 3rd to 9th in team scoring makes it even more concerning Edited March 28, 2015 by Dasein

Because Tambellini doesn't bother trying to get the puck to Virtanen. Obviously Virtanen isn't a set-up man, but if he's not getting the puck in a position to score, he's relatively ineffective. CanuckMan10
I can honestly see Jake turning into an Alex Burrows (in his prime) type player. People are going to rip on this for the comparison, but we'd be lucky if he turned into a top 6 guy when put with the right linemates. Obviously he throws the body around more, but he's an absolute pest and is in the box basically every game. Hopefully he can put up 30+ goals like burrows did, but more consistently. Theyre both fast and like to shoot though (virtanen a lot harder)
Guest Dasein
Virtanen's also a lot faster Burr is not a clean skater nor is he that "fast" - he just skates better than the Sedins so he looks good on that line
Jiggs50
In his prime Burr could fly. But nothing like Jake.

You really aren't going to know how good he can be until he is surrounded by players and coaches that make him better.

Brick Tamland
Because Tambellini doesn't bother trying to get the puck to Virtanen. Once drafted, your team mates will share less, they need to pad their draft stats.

Amish Rake Fighter
Man I kept seeing that Sanheim kid all over the ice; behind both nets, first guy out of the zone, last guy back and I'm thinking wtf is wrong with this kid? Then I remembered there are two of them...2nd time that's happened.
