Green⌃Arrow
Let's see if Jake misses playing at home and making the big bucks. Damn. Just realized Hunter Shinkaruk is doing better than Virtanen in both the NHL and AHL. I am aware that Shink was drafted a year before Virtanen. But Jake really needs to pick it up or else he will be traded. I just hope Virtanen has a beast inside of him ready to take over and BEAST-MODE it up. Mathematically, 18>17. Therefore, Virtanen > Kesler.

Shink was a late birthday while virtanen missed the 2015 draft by a few weeks

Didn't they change that assist and give it to Archi?

Made some promising rushes and looked physical out there. Good to hear he's getting his groove back. I'll have to catch the next game.

I think they're in a bit of a 'need to tear him down to build him back up' phase in his development. Anyone expecting an overnight fix is going to be disappointed IMO.

He has the skill and size, but his mentality isn't focused enough. Virtanen seems like a late-boomer. Even though it's not the worst thing, us Canucks fans will have to be patient... We were patient with the Sedins, Edler, Hansen, Burrows, and more. The only player we've drafted who hit the ground running immediately was Kesler. Speed is the new size. How many of us can say we've played 50+ NHL games by age 20? I've said this before but I'll say it again: Virtanen is a BC boy. Entitled or not, he's a humble guy with the right attitude. It's only a matter of time until all of us will be supporting him by repping that #18 jersey.

Rumours around the city indicate he's not exactly humble. He's no Evander Kane but that doesn't mean he's a saint.

Well he's definitely more mature compared to when I was 20.
Derp...
Page 53, this must mean he's just going through a tough time and will be Horvat's linemate in the future. ^^ Baertschi sig above my post, that means he'll also be on the line. Homer and the green goblin pics. Means he'll be inconsistent between super villain, and lazy guy in underwear who's missing a finger on each hand. My prof pic of McCann and Hutton, means there's a 50% chance he gets traded. Edited December 2, 2016 by Derp...

canuckledraggin
Nice goal and his 1st AHL tally. He's a left winger if that goal is any indication. We're looking for a big scoring left winger and fail to realize that we have one in the system already. His speed is ridiculous and playing with Bancks and Hamilton is the perfect way to show him how to play the game. The negative is that they are the #1 PK unit and Jake has to sit too much because of the number of penalties called in the AHL.
