Watermelons
Great hair. Looks like Babcock. What's more to ask for?
elvis15
High IQ player, two way center, would have liked to see a high skill pick with the second much as we did with last year's late round pick, but still a good player. Plenty of prospects at center and we could turn one of them around into another piece via trade later so we don't leave someone without a spot. baumerman77
I don't like this pick. We have Horvat and Gaunce. This kid is the same.

DeNiro
McCaan will get a big opportunity to move up with Horvat likely moving on.

Down by the River
You know how you have muscle memory? Well 'it is what it is' is such a hockey cliche that I can see how he would have used that phrase without thinking about its meaning. He's going to a great city that is now putting an emphasis on youth. He'll have a chance to realize that with some time.
Tangelos
Not disappointed about drafting redundant player cause we can always swap him to another team for another positional need later
baumerman77
We should have taken Scherbak.
Tearloch7
A 17 YO kid feeling dejected because he slipped a lot? .. faces the reality that his future lies 3000 miles (5000 KM,ok!) away, and gets a mic shoved into his face so to speak .. he will be fine. UFCanuck
Didn't even crack a smile when he got picked, neither did his dad. The opposite of the Shinkaruk family.
canucksVSflames89
Gaunce's future is probably as a winger quote name="baumerman77" post="12233131" timestamp="1403919958"]I don't like this pick. TheRussianRocket.
Barbashev Ugh I know too. Friend in Moncton follows the Wildcats religiously and be is so high on him. Take his word and he's a very smart man but happy with McCann too. If it was anybody else probably wouldn't.
EliteROF4
When I spoke about redundancy getting Bonino back This is exactly what i was speaking of. Yet another solid 2 way player another solid 2 way center... Cassels, Bonino, Lain, Horvat, Matthias, MacCann, Gaunce.... And on RW Grenier on LW Shinkaruk and Virtanen.... This is confusing in regards to organizational depth and need That being said welcome to the fold Jared McCann. But...just a question, it is what it is? When you get drafted int eh 1st round you put on your happy face and act like someone who just got the frigging world handed to him. Not a good start with the kind of fans you have to deal with. Seriously bud at least show some enthusiasm for basically being handed a near million dollar ELC Hey man you can never have too many centers
