Sorry he was complaining about his playing time not his contract. yeah the Canucks wouldn't be in salary cap trouble if they didn't give Pearson $3 million+ cap hit and they still need to sign 4 defensemen and most of the bottom 6 with under $20 million and at least $15 million is going to Hughes and Petey. Canucks could have waited until the offseason for teams wanting to trade their 4th or 5th defensemen or bottom 6 centre for draft picks instead of losing them for nothing in the expansion draft.
