cabinessence
so you don't like commercial music but you usually watch e! Canada? interesting... No, I never watch it. I stated I missed it this weekend (which actually includes every weekend). Where did you get the idea that I watched e! Canada? Link to comment
Monty
No, I never watch it. I stated I missed it this weekend (which actually includes every weekend). Where did you get the idea that I watched e! Canada? Gee, I don't know where he got that idea... Wow, did you get a scoop? I missed E! Canada this weekend A true mystery. Reading this, one could only assume you meant every weekend. If that is seriously what you meant, then your writing is like your taste in music, poor. Link to comment

If that is seriously what you meant, then your writing is like your taste in music, poor. Have to disagree with you in both counts. The statement made regarding e Canada was grammatically correct and provided the information needed. You may be able to insinuate something because of the addition of this before weekend. However, when reading one must not assume the answer. That's one of the beautiful things of composition. It can give so many feelings and possible interpretations, when there very well might be just one truth to the content. Check out the lyrics here: I can't even begin to tell you How much I really need to Lose all this inhibition (from Baby, What You Do) Cue bass solo! Link to comment

You must be out of touch with modern music or just stuck in the 94.5 Beat space. Who isn't really loving the vibe of anticipation for the day the new Rev Cd drops? Link to comment

Who isn't really loving the vibe of anticipation for the day the new Rev Cd drops? some people just prefer the icy sounds of modern pop music. me? i prefer the warmth of comfort food, revved up big block v8s, and when the Rev turns up the heat i reach for a Coors! avelanch
KK Rev is to music what Coors light is to beer. that's too far... coors may be the worst beer ever made, but it's still sorta kinda almost beer. Link to comment
cabinessence
Coors may not be the rock n roll beer some think it is. I know Kk Rev prefers Corona. Not exactly hard stuff like the tunes, but most a celebration of beach, sun, and parties. Not too dissimilar to Sammy Hagar and the Wabos but with a harder edge. Sammy likes to have fun like the Rev, but I'd say The Rev adds more topical lyrics to also give us something to think about. Link to comment

King Heffy
Mark Messier Canucks commercials are ALMOST as bad as KK REV. Link to comment
avelanch
ohhh that's a good one. almost as bad.... holy crap, i just had a scary thought... messier commercials with a kk rev "soundtrack" *shudder* I'm pretty sure that would trigger the end of days. I think it might be in the bible, depending on your interpretation of revelations. Link to comment
cabinessence
Yeah Messier is a retired has been. Trying to blend an old-timer with the raw energy of The Rev might not gel that well. Messier with say Tony Bennett and KK Rev with the UFC Champ would be something to talk about eh? Link to comment
