Some fans ruined this team, but I STILL BELIEVE!

I think "impatient" is absolutely the wrong word to be using.

As a fan for every one of those 44 years, I've been nothing if not patient. Right now I'd prefer to be stocking the prospect shelves instead of signing high-priced free agents, for the dubious benefit of sneaking into the playoffs.

Ditto. Still wish we could have gotten Gil Perrault in `70. Many bad early years but now also a long run of contending. The cup has been elusive but some great runs along the way. That is ending so lets ramp up the prospects and work on a new turn around.

most of these happy go lucky threads are people claiming to me fans of for 50 some odd years.

My point is its our fault for showing our grandparents how to internet which lead to these threads.

AASS

Adults against senior surfing

Listen whippersnapper. The grandparents created the Internets. If they didn't you wouldn't have this lovely message board to rant on would ya? You'd still be tappin' out your grumblings on a typewriter and waiting two weeks for a "letter to the editor" to show up...if they didn't trash-bin it. So say your thanks...and have some respect. :P

(ignore rest).

Here's the feel good for the day: Sticking to hockey...

Realists are a joke too, same people who change their tune when the Canucks do well. I live and breathe this team, everything in house is decked out in Canucks colors, I love the changes and my expectation is that this team will make the playoffs and re-build at the same time. Nothing wrong by icing a competitive young team while at the same time getting the younger players more experience in regular season / playoff games, you didn't see Boston tanking like Edmonton. The goal is to make the playoffs every year, and by 3-4 years down the road our young players could be dynamite enough that it makes the Canucks a Stanley Cup contender. Say hello to Jim Benning everybody.

Dude where on earth did the notion that a "few" fans ruined the team? really??? If you believe that you're delusional. I love this team, good or bad I cheer them on. Sure it sucks when we had a crappy season like we did last year but you know what who cares. It's a freak'n sport. Yes, a sport not life or death. The Canucks are a team we are passionate about, but at the end of the day I've got bigger problems such as work, relationships, etc. Be a good fan and cheer your team on... but if you can't take them losing get lost and find another team to cheer for. In the grand scheme it really doesn't matter.

but all this drama about the team sucking or our fans suck. Whatever, the Canucks aren't paying any of us on their payroll so the reality is nothing we say really matters. But its fun on this forum ::D Go Canucks Go!

reminds me of "Anchorman 2"

people love to hear what they want to hear. These threads can keep coming and will never be locked for redundancy because everybody just loves to drink these in

It would take a special kind of person to watch the garbage named "Anchorman 2 " and admit it.

Eh if your a regular your okay in my book. The way I see it (some may disagree) but the regulars on here are the meat and potatoes of canuck army.

While others can simply forget about hockey for the Summer we spend countless hours discussing something that we all cherish and love (The canucks). We all have different ways of showing our love. We need to be patient with one another and remember that we are all on the same team.

Family means nobody gets left behind

Rather contradictory. Family means nobody gets left behind. Who made you set a standard? I think anyone here must be a fan, not just the one with the biggest mouth. Some of us work for a living and raise families bud. Unsportsmanlike conduct IMO.
