No way Edmonton finishes higher than us... shh shhh!!!! Edmonton looked great on paper for the last 2-3 years. This year, they look good on paper. But we all know they crack under pressure sooner rather than later ;)

I would love for them to stay where they are, but think that young core can finally do something this season. Not the playoffs though of course, Edmonton hasn't ever even heard of those. ;)

Wow you certainly took your time with this one. I predict we barely make the playoffs and we get eliminated in the first round. I'm too lazy to predict what the other 29 teams will do.

Just graduated, and have a boring day today while waiting for somebody to come over.

Prediction: Messiah "Messier" will return

I won't go into as much detail as you, but here goes

Central:

St. Louis

Chicago

Colorado

Dallas

Pacific:

Anaheim

LA

San Jose

Minnesota (as wildcard)

*Canucks, Preds, Oilers all come close

Atlantic:

Tampa Bay

Boston

Detroit

Columbus

Metropolitan:

Pittsburgh

Philadelphia

NY Rangers

Washington

*Montreal, Florida, New Jersey, NY Islanders all come close

-Coyotes win lottery pick.

-Ducks win the cup, beating Tampa in the finals.

-Sedins return to form, getting 75+ points each. Burrows and Edler bounce back too. Bonino and Higgins decline from last year, and at least one of our young players gets a full time roster spot.

I'm on mobile as always so I can't open up all the tabs and make complete standing predictions etc... I'll just give some random predictions

Canucks make playoffs

Ryan kesler gets close to a point per game

Burrows finishes second on canucks with goals

Luongo wins vezina... Take this one to the bank and cash it in.

Ryan Miller gets nominated for vezina... Fuaaaa that'd be nuts. If he does then I'd be routing for Miller to win it.

Sestito remains greatest beauty on the team and keeps standing up for his team like a man

Colorado misses the playoffs

Eastern conference remains pathetic

Edler leads canucks dman in points and proves he's a #1

Dale Weise has a great year

Toes and Kane have poor seasons

The world implodes Jan 8th when lui plays Vancouver.

I really believe that Canucks should not have a lot of trouble with our division. (only in reg. season)

LA - Never been a good reg. season team. We have beat them in the reg. season b4( in PO they kill us)

ANA- I believe they will only give us trouble, we probably wont beat them

SJS - Rebuilding arent looking to win, looking too tank

EDM - We wont have trouble

ARZ - With us having Vrbata now, we should be able to beat them

CAL- Still rebuilding, we wont have trouble

I'm redoing mine:

Central:

1. Chicago (wins conference)-Although they will lose someone since they are over the cap, they have filled out their top 6 (assuming Sharp or Hossa aren't traded) with Richards and still have good depth and a good defensive core.

2. Dallas-Could be an offensive powerhouse with the Seguin/Benn first line and Spezza on the second. Still questionable defense, but it's the regular season it doesn't matter as much.

3. St. Louis-Very good team, but their goaltending is questionable (although I don't think it matters as much since they are a really good possession team and have that defensive core).

Pacific:

1. Los Angeles-I know people say they aren't a regular season team, but they are a very good possession team and with Gaborik and their younger guys coming up I think they should have a very good regular season.

2. Anaheim-Getzlaf/Perry's point production should go up with Kesler taking some of the defensive load off. Goaltending and depth questions prevent them from winning the conference.

3-San Jose-I've come to terms with this, they are still a really good team. They will have a worse season and will be challenged for this spot, but I think it's their's still.

Wild Card:

1. Colorado-Will probably have a worse season, but still very good (nearly missing the third spot). Their possession numbers are awful and so is their defensive core.

2. Minnesota-Keep Vancouver and Nashville out with a more complete team and Edmonton still isn't ready. Minnesota has a good forward group and Suter can help carry their back end. Same 8 teams.

3-Vancouver-Good back-end, but not enough secondary goal scoring behind the Sedins.

4. Nashville-Improved their forward group a lot and have a really good back-end, but still not good enough to knock out Minnesota.

5-Edmonton-Have good top 6, but really lacks a good enough team elsewhere.

6-Arizona-Doesn't have a good enough forward group to get in.

7-Calgary-Have a better back-end adding Hiller along with Giordano already there. Weak offense however.

8-Winnipeg-In a strong division, they aren't able to do much.

Don't care about the east.

L.A. gave us a lot of trouble last season, but I expect 50/50.

I don't think Anaheim will give us that much trouble. I don't think Andersen or Gibson are as good as Hiller and both have question marks as to how good they can do for long stretches.

San Jose will still be a very good team and will win their fair share of games against us.

Edmonton will give us more trouble than in the past, especially with better goaltending.

Calgary has Hiller now and may be able to steal a game or two.
