Despite finishing 10th overall last season, the L.A. Kings have made a number of sweeping changes this off-season. Over half the roster has been turned over, and each skater of last season's top line has been dealt.

Here is the Kings team that finished the 2014-15 season:

Zach Parise - Brayden Schenn - Jeff Skinner

Johnny Gaudreau - Alex Galchenyuk - Mark Scheifele

Adam Lowry - Michael Frolik - Troy Brouwer

Matt Fraser - Drew Shore - Beau Bennett

Brett Connolly

Michael Ferland

Kris Russell - Dustin Byfuglien

Jay Harrison - Radko Gudas

Andre Benoit - Nikita Nesterov

Matt Donovan

Henrik Lundqvist

Darcy Kuemper

And here is the team today:

Johnny Gaudreau - Tyler Seguin - Patrick Kane

Cody McLeod - Craig Smith - Troy Brouwer

Adam Lowry - Brian Boyle - Teemu Pulkinnen

Michael Ferland - Jay Beagle - Matt Fraser

Kyle Baun

Anton Stralman - James Wisniewski

Alec Martinez - Trevor Daley

Fedor Tyutin - Jay Harrison

Zach Trotman

Andre Benoit

Henrik Lundqvist

Darcy Kuemper

We may have sacrificed some of our secondary scoring, and traded a wealth promising young players such as Galchenyuk, Schenn, Scheifele, and Skinner. But in doing so, we feel we've made big improvements to our defense and top forward line. We also expect that the players we have assembled will be more likely to have strong and extended production in the playoffs, where last year's team fell very short.

Looking forward to 2015-16!

That's a good looking roster, especially the back end and top 6.

Alive, but anxiously waiting for the season to start.

Also, pretty much ran out of players to trade!

Feel the same about players to trade. Got loads of prospects and players close to making the roster, but not looking to move them anytime soon.

Pittsburgh is looking to add a top four defenseman & back-up goaltender. Willing to move picks, prospects and/or a young defenseman to get a deal done. (Note - Olli Maatta will cost an arm and a leg to acquire if he is to be discussed in a trade)

Could be willing to take on salary depending on the defenseman.

Special thanks to Intoewsable who has created our league banner for next season! It will be in the OP of the new thread, and it features Corey Perry from our regular season champs the Boston Bruins, and Nikita Kucherov, from our playoff champs the Winnipeg Jets!!!
