I think Henrik's mostly getting PK minutes because of faceoff trust, so there's minutes there for Bo.

Matthias seems the most likely. Not that he's been bad, but my personal vote would go to Dorsett because my ideal lineup would have more players at their (semi) natural positions:

Sedins-Vrbata

Higgins-Bonino-Kassian

Burrows-Richardson-Vey

Matthias-Horvat-Hansen

^what I like there is that Higg-Burr and Kass-Vey are both interchangeable, and even Matthias-Richardson

Matthias is the one most likely to be scratched. Hansen has better qualities as a RW which is his natural position. Matthias isn't bad we just could use Horvat more so.

Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata

Higgins-Bonino-Burrows - Burrows plays better as RW. Higgins and Burrows play with a hard work ethic that can complement Bonino.

Richie-Vey-Kassian - Richie and Vey take draws on their strong sides. Kassian has chemistry with Richie as well.

Dorsett-Horvat-Hansen - Horvat can eat PK minutes and take draws. He will probably get 10 +/- min depending on special teams.

Matthias. Other than his physical stature, which he doesn't even use that much, I don't see what he's contributed to the team. He can't play on the wings and Hansen is an excellent bottom 6 winger. If Hansen can find chemistry with Horvat and Dorsett, we would have a fourth line with more scoring potential.

Was not impressed with either Mathias or Hanson's physicality against Edmonton. Hanson had a slight edge. C vs RW. You can always move a C to the wing. Loved Hanson from when he was in junior and Van drafted him. He was a premium PKer and might be able to stick at 4RW with PK time. Mathias is younger and needs TOI but Van depth might not give him that unless injuries happen.

Because of the draft year coming up I suspect that either of these two might be up for a trade. To early yet. Both have enough talent that they could adapt to the WD coaching and surprise.

I think we should should start Horvat on the wing and get climatized. Best option would be to put him on the third line left wing, with Vey and Kasian. Horvat can take most face-offs for Vey if he struggles. This would also allow us to put Brad Richardson as the 4C, which would be perfect since Matthias seems to not be getting it done. That could possibly add some juice to the fourth line which we know Richardson played well as last year.

Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata

Higgins-Bonino-Burrows

Horvat-Vey-Kassian

Dorsett-Richardson-Hansen

(Mathias, Sestito)

During Bo Horvat's Playoff MVP season for the london knights, he sometimes played left wing for a high IQ offensive center Max Domi. He took the face-offs, and worked like a bull in the boards as well as in front of the net. Still can get PK time as well.
