AriGold
Joe McDonald @ESPNJoeyMac 31m31 minutes ago CONFIRMED: Chara out 4-6 weeks with ligament damage to knee could face possible surgery. ------- Boychuk gone, Chara out, that means Hamilton and Krug are going to handle a heavy load.. Dougie Hamilton - Dennis Seidenberg Torey Krug - Matt Bartkowski Adam McQuaid - Kevin Miller I wonder if they will look to sign UFA Derek Morris who can log big minutes, especially on the Penalty Kill. TheRussianRocket.
Absolutely 0 sympathy. What goes around comes around. As much as I don't like seeing any player injured, I'm going with this^ Bruins defense is getting hit full circle. Should never have traded Boychuk in the first place. Haven't replaced him since the trade. Should've been McQuaid.

D-Money
Chara is 37 and a half - and he's played a TON of hockey over the last 5 years. He wasn't going to hold up forever.

Tanev
Could have lasting impact on the rest of his career. He's getting older and being that big with knee issues is not a good combo.
D-Money
Meanwhile, Boychuk is looking like a bona fide #1 defenseman... Transition year for Boston.
