The best advice is to work at your own pace. Push yourself, but don't worry about your ego :P

no worries on the ego, work and a raising a teenager beat that out of me a long time ago. 

 

I was just surprised at how much I lost in a few years vs. when i was regularly climbing, it was an eye opener.

You'll gain it back quicker than someone starting from square one though. Muscle memory is a very real and incredible thing.
