Sixteen W's
Some of the goals last year felt a bit 'grindy', second chance goals off rebounds or jammed in. Already the types of goals being scored feels like they're coming from a more skilled team. There have been games where the opposing goalie has played well yet let in 3 or 4. Anyways early season bla bla bla don't care. Looks good so far.
-AJ-
I think that part of it is that the Sedins have their gusto again. On top of that, our second line is beast right now and are playing beautiful hockey. Two skilled lines means some wonderful goals.
Nuxfanabroad
Yeah, it's been easy on the eye, hasn't it?
It's Bieksa's Fault
I think those grindy goals will come against the LAs and St. Louis' of the league if we ever want to match up well against them, since they can so handily shut down skill-based offence. However, I think the major difference is that Bonino has decent playmaking ability, allowing the entire second line to be able to score. Couple that with bits of talent and skill on all the bottom six players and there's some nice secondary scoring.
Tom Sestito
That's us last year through the same amount of games. That's us this year. While it's nice to see more goals, in reality the starts have been extremely similar. Difference for me is that we hadn't turned into the grindy team torts wanted us to be yet, while here I think our offense is going to be much more sustained throughout the season. We definitely don't have the firepower to play that type of game though.

Also, let's not forget that our GA total is skewed by a few outliers, not a consistent trend.
Spotted Zebra
Hockey is just fun to watch again. It honestly was a chore to watch the Canucks at the end of the year last year.
