-AJ-
Here's a look at what our players' current productions rates will produce over 82 games. Remember, take this with a grain of salt, as there are going to be some oddities in a sample size as small as 17 games. Regardless, I found this interesting to look at, so I thought I'd share it . Interesting things to note: - Bonino on pace for 30+ goals - Vrbata on pace for 29 goals in just 72 games - Vey with a pretty solid rookie year *Also, some of the stats pro-rate to 0 (ie. Horvat's points, Hamhuis' goals), but obviously, these exact paces are unlikely to pan out. Another random thing - though I didn't post it, Miller is on pace for 53 wins, an NHL record, though it's highly improbable that his rate will be maintained. Still, it's impressive. Twilight Sparkle
19 goals from vey and burrows would be quite nice, and a good bounce back year from burrows. we're already seeing it
GMJB
I know it's early and a lot can change but going from such offensive problems last season to having 5 guys on pace for 50 or more points this season is a very welcome change.

Goat James
You can't look too much into things like this, it basically just tells us that our team has been playing really well thus far...
supermanbieksa
This will be a good year if every line can continue to contribute offensivly at this rate consistently through out the season. But I find the lack of offensive production from the defencemen a bit of a concern. But as mentioned, it's still early in the season and for all we know Edler could end up at 60points and Burrows could stop at 30 although it's unlikely. Guest Dasein
Bo gets 24 games? Interesting
TOMapleLaughs
A lot of unsustainability there, but hopefully we keep it up.
2009cupchamps
There will be players production dropping but others will increase like Kassian who always puts more points up later in the year
5Fivehole0
I imagine Kassian picks it up, Dorsett drops off, Edler picks up a tad, and Higgins finishes around 43points. Also Richardson drops off and Stanton picks up.
EmilyM
If you told me at the end of last year that these will be projections for this year, I would've said you're dreaming. Original poster already mentioned that these are early projections and take it with a grain of salt, but it's very nice to see
kazin!
I want the twins to return to PPG players. And Edler at 33 points is pretty disappointing. I think he'll pick it up.
kloubek
For the most part, those are amazing numbers! Higgins at 63 points! Some real disappointing projections for our D, mind you.
TOMapleLaughs
Actually don't mind low offensive numbers from our D. It's not like we have a Karlsson. Let them focus on actual defending.

BCNeil
14 players scoring 10 goals or more. Wonder when the last time that actually happened.
snipes2539
What about hysterically freaking out over a rookie with 5 games experience? Never too early for hysterics. Always too early to be positive though, such is life in CDC.
-AJ-
Way too early just way too early for this What's the fun in pro-rating late in the year? It just makes it easier for some to see how well our players are doing if you place it in terms of 82 games.
apollo
I'd be happy if everyone kept pace obviously... But I know it probably won't happen. Not saying the team won't do well or better than now, just that paces seldom keep up. Guys I think can pick it up Henrik Daniel Bieksa Edler Tanev Sestito Hansen Guys that may drop Dorsett Vey
