Meet and greet Tomorrow

Was my first year going, it was pretty awesome. Got to meet all the players at all 8 stations, 2 free vouchers for food.

Have to say, with how hyped up the new food at Rogers Arena was, it was incredibly underwhelming. Safe to say, I'm glad the grilled cheese I tried and the Lobster roll were both free as there is zero chance in hell I would pay $13 for either of those at a game. If I was in desperation hunger mode, I'd just get a triple o burger at a game, but more often than not I just eat before or after the game.

had a blast going every year. my two fav tables to go see were: LACK, KASSIAN and BONINO. Zack and Eddie, looked like they were genuinely happy to be there, talking to people and trying to engage them with the amount of time each person had. and oh, the doodling on the table cloth, lol

and, i guess, the HIGGINS, EDLER and HANSEN. the event co-ordinators kept mentioning that there lines were short and that people should go there, if they wanted to meet players without waiting so long.

but the table i wanted to see was the DORSETT and MILLER. miller was gracious and humbled to be there, and i was super stoked to finally meet doresett. cool dude.

great? really?

The players weren't enthusiastic. they looked bored.

I give it a rating of good.

Got autographs without too much hassle and food was decent.

Season tickets cost a lot of money.

Guess it would've killed them to smile for each customer.

Did you expect every player to hold up the line behind you so they can have an enthusiastic, energetic conversation with you for a few minutes?

Most players seemed happy and often initiated a, "Hey, how're you today?" instead of me asking first.

The Lack Bonino Kassian table was definitely lively and Lack and Bonino were making fun of each other all morning. Ryan Miller was also a guy who I found to have a lot of energy. When I went to the Hansen Higgins aaaand Edler? table, Hansen was taking shots at Higgins.

The only 2 guy's I thought who lacked any energy and fun were Hamhuis and Vrbata, though I'll give Vrbata the benefit of the doubt being a normally shy guy.

I just don't see a scenero in which I would ever go out of my way to meet the Canucks unless my kids really wanted to meet them.

It's one thing to meet them by chance but to line up in like cattle to get a autograph or a picture is strange and awkward for a grown adult.
