HC20.0
I'd be okay with Gropp. Solid winger.

S N Y P E R S 7
notice: Ivan Provorov's ranking is subject to frequent and immediate change. Rising very hard right now due to his excellent performance at the Subway Super Series.
S N Y P E R S 7
Will be an awesome winger. Needs to learn how not to stutter; hopefully he never meets Eddie Lack.

Tom Sestito
Think it's more realistic to switch Konecny and Roy. Not only based on performance, but on team needs as well
S N Y P E R S 7
Nice sizey winger; incredibly high ceiling and power forward potential BC boy; played for Penticton Vees. reminiscent of Rick Nash Nimble skater, creates havoc around the net, can score from anywhere. Finesse game, while pressing the defence; can agitate when in the mood Known to have off-ice attitude problems that need straightening out; not a big issue he'll do stuff like this:
Tom Sestito
Actually, I disagree with a lot of this if we go team needs. Is this based purely on who in your opinion is BPA?

Tom Sestito
Provorov is really, really good. He'll rise to the top fifteen for sure...
S N Y P E R S 7
Actually, I disagree with a lot of this if we go team needs. Is this based purely on who in your opinion is BPA? This is purely best player available. Team needs aren't going to be a factor in 2015, unless there is an equally talented player who is in that different role, available. Everybody will want the best player available because, otherwise, the next team down will take the player you could've gotten. It's weighing benefits and risks - and how high a prospect's ceiling is. Every prospect can bust. It's just that BPA will be worth it all the more if they don't. (This is part of the reason that I was so upset with the Jake Virtanen pick; was really hoping for Nikolaj Ehlers in the 2014 Draft)

ibesawesomey
Thoughts on Crouse or Rantanen? Ahl and Greenway look good as well if we're down the list.
diesel_3
Awesome thread. I don't follow prospects as much as I should, so hopefully reading this throughout the year will help me out a bit!
S N Y P E R S 7
has the ability to frustrate defencemen with his size top-10 skating ability, finishing ability top notch Milan Lucic-like; always plays the game relentlessly, like a playoff match needs to work on discipline, defensive zone play, and passing through the neutral zone
S N Y P E R S 7
Mikko Rantanen has top-10 skill High hockey-IQ; he is a smart player who has the patience to set up plays, and the elusiveness to finish them. Someone with size (6'4) who can start and finish plays is unheard of; this added to the fact that he is not afraid along the boards and good defensively? could turn out like Anze Kopitar, but I see him reaching a level even greater. Has all the assets to have an amazing pro career. http://www.juniorhockey.com/news/news_detail.php?news_id=84243
