CBJ is in a bad position. Many injuries, lack of depth, no real back up goaltender and There is specualtion that Bobrovsky might head to the KHL.

We have three NHL goalies plus a system with many great goaltenders and we also have too many vet fowards needing to make room for rookies.

Best thing for us to do I believe is to Gather another 1st round pick in this amazingly deep draft.

after that waive Sestito.... really no use for him.

Pick # 18 - Mikko Rantanen- 6 foot 4, 195 pound C/RW Finnish player. Nick Name the Finnish Bull. Crashes the net hard.

Pick #21- Jakub Zboril- 6 foot 1, 184 pounds D. Very good skater can play both ends of the ice and has very strong hockey IQ leading to strong defensive play while quarterbacking some offense in the situations needed.

You really think that Markstrom (who is nothing more than a proven AHL goalie who cleared waivers two months ago) and Matthias (a 3rd/4th line tweener with 1 year left on his contract) are going to land a 1st round pick from a team that's looking like they will be getting a top-10 pick?

Change that 1st to a 3rd and Columbus might show some interest.
