SabreFan1
Living in Buffalo during the winter is interesting every few years. That's not clouds, it's a huge arse moving downfall of snow. My car is very very buried in the driveway. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/photo/here-comes-snow-wall-weather-blankets-buffalo-n250951

SabreFan1
Well we'll have up to about 6 feet of it soon. Plenty of it to go around. The tricky part is actually getting out of the house since the doors are jammed shut.

We can occasionally get thaws that sometimes last 2-3 weeks.

Sometimes not being able to leave the house for a couple days is a good thing anyway.
:D
Why do people live in places that are TERRIBLE for several months of the year and only barely acceptable at their best?

Offensive Threat
Ottawa. Cold as hell and 4 feet of snow in the winter and mosquitoes like a plague in the summer. Fun times.

The Hornet
Enjoying our balmy -2 in Edmonton for now until we get our month long -30 snap. It doesn't usually snow much here, but we get lots of wind that causes big drifts, and the cold lasts forever. And there's not a lot of sun in the winter time. Never live in a place where the air hurts your skin..... Unless you need a job.
otherwise
I would love that much snow. I love snow, it makes -40 worth while. ^^^ didn't realize Edmonton was cloudy in the winter, Saskatoon is normally pretty sunny.
brilac
I love it when it snows. So nice to watch and go outside in it. I also like hot weather and sunshine, and strong rain, but nothing in between, like overcast weather.
