Sixteen W's
Reliable fourth line players can play 10+ minutes and spread out the ice time without wearing our your top lines. They don't play under five minutes and do nothing during that time.In this case, the fourth line is even contributing goals. Great pickup. There won't even be any controversy over being promoted to the third line because he played more than the third line tonight. Minus the powerplay time, he's almost played as much as the first and second lines. Also, congratulations to Daniel Sedin on a thousand games. asian player
Getting Dorsett definitely made me less salty about losing the danish Gretzky. Way to go JB!
BanTSN
lol at the term '4th line superstar'
Canucks1219
Dorsett is on pace for these statistics despite spending every minute as a "fourth liner". 8g 25a 33pts It's quite unlikely to happen but he's through 19 games now. Not 9. That's a terrific pace.

Mathew Barzal
Our 'third line superstar' of the present more like it. What a fantastic pick up.
oldnews
You could just see after that bs pp goal Chicago got - he was pissed. And shat was gonna hit the fan. And it did.
DeltaSwede
Really enjoying what I have been seeing from him this season. Has done everthing asked for him. What a nice change from Kellan Lain, Tom Sestito and Mike Zalewski being legitimate 4th line players on this team.

Dragonfruits
no way he should take more penalties especially crappy ones called by the refs seems to fire him up
Smashian Kassian
He's a great passer, him, Horvat & Hansen have been great, better than the third line lately.
Robongo
Needs to take less penalties Pretty much the only negative about his game.
Patchoball Cannons
Getting Dorsett definitely made me less salty about losing the danish Gretzky. Way to go JB! The Danish Gretzky? If your referring to Dale Wiese, you mean the Dutch Gretzky
Patchoball Cannons
Really enjoying what I have been seeing from him this season. Has done everthing asked for him. What a nice change from Kellan Lain, Tom Sestito and Mike Zalewski being legitimate 4th line players on this team. Mike Zalewski played 2 games last year and they were the last 2 games of the season after we were already out of playoff contention. Kellen Lain played 9, so I don't see your point there. besides the fact that Dorsett has been good.
UFCanuck
He's done more in 20 games than Booth did for 3 seasons.
Brewmaster12
Haha. Reminds me a commentator or someone on the radio calling asking a danish guy" how's Sweden". Any way the guy works hard, beats defenders with a dump and chase plus speed. Physicality is killed by speed indeed.
TheXFactor
Fourth line superstar... I can't comprehend this phrase.
Tragoedia
Fourth line superstar... I can't comprehend this phrase. It's possible because our fourth line has never been either A) good enough to be dominant or healthy enough to play well. Superstar might be a stretch, but fan favorite is probably closer to what the OP meant.
sinphase
He's certainly surprised. Dorsett and Vey's play kind of begs the question, can Desjardins up the play of player's he hasn't coached in the minors? Hansen, Kassian, and Matthias have certainly found another level to their game under him but have not really produced (except Hansen, but he's shown good play before WD) at the some level. Moonshinefe
4th line superstar isn't that confusing! Just think of an NHL in which all the players are 4th line caliber. Who would be the stars in that league?
