Staal2Staal
Would anyone be willing to trade a bag of Lays potato chips for him? Not one goal on the first line... ridiculous. I don't want to here about "potential". He has played like shit. Hopefully the rumors of shipping him and a 4th for Marc Staal at the deadline are true. You could have him on your Hurricane squad. I wouldn't trade a single serve size bag of Lays chips for Slappy Semin.

bigbadcanucks
Hey! Slapping can hurt... That's probably what Marc Staal is saying...Semin vs. Staal...seen better swings in a park.
JeremyCuddles
I'd trade lays potato chips for him, if they retain 70% of his salary.
2SKATES1STICK
I'd trade lays potato chips for him, if they retain 70% of his salary. the crazy thing is, even at $2.1 his output has been horrendous.

Herberts Vasiljevs
He gives me hope that one day I'll be able to receive 7 mil a year for simply not giving a f*ck.
Monteeun
that 7 mil is looking bad now. They can certainly throw that kind of money at an ahl player and get better results.
Bruce Boudreau
Getting close to running off to the KHL like Kovalchuk after this year. Likely won't leave until he gets a buyout then doubles down in the K. He is the Albert Haynesworth of the NHL truly in it for the money doesn't give a frack about anyone other than his Russian bros like Ovi. Terrible attitude amazing talent. Has as good a wrist shot as anybody in the league right now what a waste. Stereotypical Russian though. When he can't score he sulks and becomes a cancer for the whole team. Gross-Misconduct
What ever happen to that guy? I remember Semin flying all over the place.
sinphase
If he were 5 years younger I'd say trade him for Kassian.

Down by the River
Burrows went 40 games without a goal, calm down. 1. Burrows' injuries threw him off track 2. Semin's goal was actually his first since March 25th, not just first of the season 3. Burrows got no help from coaching staff 4. Burrows wasn't playing first-line minutes, Semin is at least getting some first line minutes and PP time. 5. Burrows doesn't have a 7mil cap hit Why do you always post without bothering to do much research? Comparing these two players, a pure goal scorer and a versatile checker, is silly. Boudrias
Not bad enough he stank Washington out but then moves on to Carolina and Rutherford resigns him for mega bucks. That contract alone should have been enough for Rutherford being canned. Now he is the resident genius in Pitt, go figure. Maybe Lowe will steeal him to Edmonton. CALGARY!
No I wouldnt give up anything for Semin, all I think about when I think about him is that slap fest. And how soft and useless he would be in a heated playoff round. No thanks to him.

Burrows still actually gave a damn and tried his hardests, albeit with no results. 7. Semin has a history of lazy play despite elite skill, Burrows is essentially the opposite. 8. Semin has done very little to change his perception and attitude. 9. Semin has a much funnier name than Burrows and was involved in this incident...
