TheFleetwoodMack
The Canucks are coach killers once againhttps://twitter.com/Senators/status/542010119215935488
Down by the River
I remember a 5-10 second shot last night of MacLean talking to Karlsson and Karlsson just looked completely fed up. I wonder if the owners decided there was too much of a disconnect between their captain/best player and coach.
Mackcanuck
Wow, saw him publicly chewing out Erik Karlsson on the bench last night, must have overstepped his boundaries! Oilers could have a new coach!

apollo
Not a surprise at all. The only reason they won last night was because of the zebras. They're management obviously saw what I saw and canned their coach.
Mackcanuck
Jack Adams trophy winner in 2013 He has joined a very long list of coaches fired after winning this award!
timberz21
Bad move, but was pretty much inevitable. To me Bryan Murray is to blame for the Senators' fall since going to the finals. Muckler already lost Chara for nothing, and Murray let Heatley and Spezza go for basically nothing substantial. Michalek have been a serviceable top 6, at most. Questionnable picks, bad trade. MacLean was doomed either way. With the owner not willing to let go of his puppet Murray, the blame had to be put on someone and Murray to save his ass had no choice. If Murray was canned then, the new GM would probably have hired his coach anyways.
