Let the Canucks Expose themselves this year please!

Let em show us who they are. They said to GM Benning, that they know they can win with this core; well prove it to us fans. Honestly, i am glad they are becoming exposed, so Benning can make the moves that need to be made at the deadline. If they continue this losing streak I am going to smile because much of team needs to be traded. Guys like Burrows,Bieksa, and even a Higgins if the market is there should be looked at to be traded. On the other hand, If they are in a slump and are actually as good as some say, well prove it! Either way this is a win-win situation this year. Either they make a deep playoff run or they don't make the play-offs. I don't want them to come first place and lose in the first round! Afterall it is a deep draft.

Its going to be a fun ride this season, but at the end its worth it because this team will become exposed for what they truly are. Good or bad, I personally feel like moves need to be made, but again time will tell.

For once someone has voiced those very thoughts that have been in my head for yrs, we got that with chicago against buffy and MG started going after bigger tougher faster guys but it was too far gone and the cap didn't go up when we needed it to and MG's hands were tied by it all. At least it was exposed and now FINALLY we actually are bigger since chicago but we're still lacking a skilled fighter who can score (sorry Sest and Dorsett but) we still need to do something so it's not so bottle necked and players with partners in and out that much isn't helping. utility players that can move up and down are great but only to a point

I like dorsett though, great 3-4 liner... Anywayyyyyyyyyyyy, if it was up to me i'd trade for buffy believe it or not... put him between the twins, Virby 2nd line...

Personally i'd have traded for Tokarski from montreal and saved all the the cap space to help with cap space instead of signing Miller...

And so we begin the off the bandwagon parade that follows every loss.

So many Canucks fans are not stable enough to handle losing.

I really wonder why they even watch hockey.

I get the whole living and dieing after every game thing, but it's December. People need to stop trying to make these grand predictions and analysis' after every win and loss.

Exactly, you wanna be bold, make this thread in the middle of a winning streak.

Best d man is out and the 3/4 pairing is having some troubles tonight.

It's good to have problems now.

Benning and the coaches know what they need to do and it gives them plenty of time at the 30 game mark of the season to address the issues.

Good grief.

You know we aren't going to win every game...

Your comment "if they continue this losing streak I am going to smile" shows that you are pretty much a doofus. Who cheers against their team when it is in a solid playoff position and only 4 points from 2nd in the league?

We also can't possibly tank badly enough to get into the top 5 picks next year at this point, never mind getting a good crack at one of the two top guys. It would be almost mathematically impossible to lose that many more games than the bottom feeders.

They are on pace to win maybe another 20 games over the next 52... we would have to win less than 14 games for the rest of the season in order to have a chance to fall behind. If you traded away half our roster for draft picks, we would still win more than that.

hey don't get all assuming now k? This has been going on for years and now benning and linden are here to pick up the pieces and do something good which has already started and this is merely a show where tweaks are needed, no need to sell the farm but we have enough depth to trade and still have depth left over

Can you please explain the year we ever had that before?????? <------- I'm 50 as in yesterday and i started watching at 11 yrs old so don't bother trying to name a year because it never was! never had a team so deep with good prospects and a hard to crack line-up

Considering expectations prior to the start of the season. I'm pretty optimistic looking at our standings. No doubt Canucks have some kinks but seeing how their has been a complete overhaul in the front office/management. It's a pretty awesome turnaround in one season in my opinion. My homerism might be getting the best of me but looking at several other teams. I think we're doing pretty well.
