The Minnesota Vikings’ “Mascot Challenge” is a little competition in which the mascots of Minnesota sports teams and a few others line up for a game of football against a youth team.

This year, Blue, The Indianapolis Colt joined in and went full Julian Washington from Any Given Sunday

He pushed some kids around, jumped the line, viciously sacked the quarterback, and talked so much trash. Sounds bad right? Firstly, remember this event is all in good fun, and all of those things are totally acceptable. Secondly, guys, that’s what linebackers do.

And by all accounts, Blue is a Pro Bowl caliber linebacker. The Mascot Challenge might’ve just been a bunch of kids, Blue’s skill stacks up against tougher competition. Remember when he laid that streaker out in 2009?
