Ericsson fits the size for the top 6 and has chemistry with the Sedins. Kassian has had 3 coaches and none of them think he has what it takes. There isn't a bertuZzI comparison to be made.

Boston has some d pieces we could use so I say throw in morrow, Ericsson and a pick for Kassian package

Thanks for coming out LKnob.

Three coaches have been developing a young player as virtually the entire Canucks core has been developed....thanks for sharing what three coaches think though.

And considering the way you've prejudged Kassian, what makes you then think he's worth Eriksson, Morrow (lol if you think Morrow is a 'throw in') plus a pick. That's a silly proposal really - and I think a hell of a lot of Kassian.

Or, in your case, simply hatred for no rational reason towards a young kid who has a bit over two full seasons as an NHL player.

As some of you kids here on CDC grow up you will begin to understand why underachievement + lack of professionalism + lack of acknowledgment and effort will never be acceptable at this level.

Until then, you will make up every excuse in the book to lash out at others.

Benning has spoken.

Benning will act.

Might + might + might + might + might = "I have absolutely nothing to go on but I can't stand the guy and want him away from me so I'll make up absolutely anything in the hope it might happen one day"

Has skill and size and potential.

Not serious or mature and has issues that plague him.

Overvalued and can improve the team in a trade.

Get rid of him.

You keep knocking Kassian but yet trading him will improve the team?

You contradict yourself. Kassian's value isn't very high at the moment, nor should we be looking at trading him. This fan base has to stop being so impatient.

Kassian is the exact type player we need on this team. I'm confident Kassian will progress into the power forward we need.

I supply the quotes and history.

Benning and WD have given their opinions.

I would love for Kassian to have an epiphany and realise the gift he has been given with an attitude on and off the ice that reflects his awareness of his position and current situation.

The GM has stated that.

The coach has stated that.

Most of you here are brain dead or sucking so hard your oxygen is not getting to your brains.

He will be traded if he doesn't become responsible and apply himself on and off the ice.

Wake up and smell the reality.

He is more helpful to this team in trade if he doesn't turn himself around ASAP.

In my opinion you shouldn't be calling anyone brain dead.

Both teams will probably get a trade done it's been talk about a trade since the draft. It seems like a Kassian for Eriksson as a base but I don't know why we're getting rid of grit. We need grit and if Eriksson comes here will he be with the Sedins or on the 2nd line because Vrbata was signed to play with the Sedins and Eriksson has chemistry with the Sedins going back to the Olympics.

I really don't want to do that trade because consistency is the problem with Kassian otherwise he can be a top 6 player. Potential there but his development is really annoying.

If they really want him then that's the asking price
