To BOS: Chris Higgins, Nick Jensen, Yannick Weber + VAN 2016 1st

To VAN: Torey Krug, Reilly Smith & Adam McQuaid

Sedin Sedin Vrbata

Smith Bonino Burrows

Matthias Richardson Kassian

Dorsett Horvat Hansen

Krug Bieksa

Sbisa McQuaid

Stanton

Miller & Läck

Huge overpayment by the Canucks and the team gets smaller.

Remove the Canucks' pick, and replace Jensen with Vey(?).

I'm also not that interested in Krug. I'd prefer Morrow.

McQuaid can probably be had, and would likely be a good, short term solution for the Canucks' d-man issues.

I doubt the Bruins want to move Smith. They would prefer to dump cap, which means Eriksson.

regards,

G.

Understandable. Eriksson is money with Soderberg, so that might be a good reason to keep him. Krug and Smith are due for raises this off season which I can see the Canucks giving them.

Secondly, Higgins gives them an Eastern style dynamic of a hard worker in the Bruins top-9.

Lucic Krejci Marchand

Higgins Bergeron Kelly

Paille Soderberg Eriksson

Griffith Campbell Gagné

giving up firsts... slippery slope

Yes, but with our youth in Virtanen, Shinkaruk, Gaunce, Cederholm, Corrado and others, I believe we'll be fine if we keep out 1st and 2nd round picks in the 2015 draft.

Besides, Smith and Krug are each 23 years of age, lots of growing and maturing to do.

I don't mind the trade except DO NOT give up a 1st pick...

Just like my response to 2SKATE1STICK.

1.) I'm thinking the Bruins would prefer to dump Eriksson and put at least some of his cap towards getting a top-6 (3?) RW from a different deal. The Blues have been mentioned.

2.) Krug and Smith probably won't be able to get the kind of increases they'd like. This is another reason why Morrow is perhaps a better option in that he's still got some time left on his ELC.

3.) Can't argue with your point on Higgins. I'm a fan of his and wouldn't like to see him go.

regards,

G.
