EmployeeoftheMonth
Surely if that's the standard, Hanzal must have gotten something, eh? I know because it's a perfect system right?
RRypien37
My god is this league ever turning soft. He literally grazed his chin and Jackman's fall was so delayed.... As mentioned before John Scott suspended for being John Scott.
Gross-Misconduct
Funny how a John Scott suspension thread morhped into a poor Zack got 5 games for destroying Gagner's face with his stick thread.
Nuxfanabroad
Can you really compare this Scott ogre with the lumber-number Kass did on Joe Thornton?

Nuxfanabroad
At the time, someone humourously noted his sudden resemblance to Jumbo(sans the chicken).
Dazzle
I know because it's a perfect system right? I think people on CDC, honestly, could provide better input on how suspensions should be handed out. They'll look at earlier season examples - not quite what the NHL is doing - and the "system" is fine. It's the people in charge that are incompetent clearly - or there is some favoritism going on. BanTSN
Just not nearly as cool as his half-brother Bon Scott.

pianoman13
An errant stick coming across his body and slamming into another players jaw breaking it and causing him to be out 2 months. And preseason games are generally known to be half as much. So Kassian was essentially a 2 or 3 game suspension.

Brick Tamland
The monkeys working the control panel at the NHL discipline are bloody hilarious. The time between the glove hitting Jackman and Jackman being shot by the sniper is hilarious. HOW CAN THEY NOT SEE THIS IS A DIVE! He may have hurt himself when he banged his own head on the ice, but come one. This makes James Neal look like an Oscar winner...

So according to your logic Jackman sat out the rest of the game and left his team a man short to get John ****ing Scott suspended?
Mackcanuck
It's a good thing we have guys like John Scott in the league to protect his teammates from the John Scotts of the league.
Jägermeister
Are people actually complaining because this got 1 less game than Kassians stick swing??? This was pretty tame. Should have only been a game or two, but it's John Scott. Kassian's play was incredibly reckless, I was pleasantly surprised he only got 5 games for that. SabreFan1
If John Scott was a Canuck, this thread would have a much different tone. It wasn't too long ago when he was a free agent and a decent amount of people here wanted him as an enforcer.

No, but teams don't take chances anymore. No one goes back and plays. Jackman embellished, if you can't see it, you are blind.
