Jansen Harkins WHL Centerman

Recommended Posts

Anyone know anything about this prospect?

If we finish as a wild card team (knocked out in the 1st) we should be in position to draft this kid.

Sounds like This draft year's Bo Horvat.

A face off specialist, extremely impressive defensive forward, who is actually leading his team in scoring points, also an extremely skilled player too.

Currently ranked in the late teens early 20's.

Strenghts defensive play as a foward who has offensive skills and an extremely high hockey iq.

6'1 177lbs, and he's from North Vancouver.

I agree with Zf.

We need to start drafting where our needs are.

Offensively gifted wingers and defensemen, stay at home D men of size and mobility and IF there is a potential #1 C out there go get em.

But not another 2 way C when we have so many in the system

Matthew Spencer, 6'2" RHD 201 lbs. plays for Peterborough. Rank 23 by ISS

Gabriel Carlsson, 6'4" LHD 184 lbs. plays for Linkoping, Rank 24 by ISS

Nicolas Meloche 6'3" RHD 202 lbs. plays for Baie-Comeau Rank 28 by ISS

Well one of them will slip to 24 so maybe we can/should make it 3 drafts in a row with a top 10 AND a 24th ;)

Made a topic for him a while ago.

i want to pick up another second then draft according

1st round - RHD

2nd round first pick - D-man

2nd round second pick - d-man

5th round - d-man

other rounds forwards

That would be such a waste in a draft class with as many talented forwards as this one. I'd take at least one in the first 2 rounds. I'd do this:

R1 - Depends so much on where we pick, but as far as need is concerned... Winger or offensive RHD

R2 - Offensive D

R2 - Forward

Assuming we keep our other picks (rounds 4, 5, 5, 6) I'd probably like to go:

R4 - F

R5 - D

R5 - F

R6 - D
