OTOWNCanuck
shame... liked tom. didnt feel he was given a fair shake at things this year
Warhippy
And the Canucks didnt want him then either. If I recall there was a contract issue or something to do with the number of contracts we had. No doubt he'd be a bare improvement at times on our blueline but meh.
PhillipBlunt
All the best Tommy. The Canucks just got a lot easier to push around.....again.
2SKATES1STICK
Yes, because waiving your worst player is indicative of trying to "tank". (sarcasm). Please shake your head. for someone who labels his own obvious sarcasm as such, it surprises me you wouldn't recognize the same sort of attempted humor by someone else. he even designated it with an ellipse AND a 'lol'. then you replied to it by telling him to shake his head!? now that's funny!! (sarcasm) oh no... wait. that IS really funny.

LeanBeef
Good luck wherever you end up Tom. Big supporter but there's no space on this team for him right now.
RRypien37
So dumb. Really hope he gets picked up by Western Conference team and just runs around against us. Pretty clear the toughness management said they would be focusing on is all BS. Waiving Sestito, scratching Kassian and rumours of trading Bieksa? Really getting tired of this team... riffraff
Well good luck Tom. You knew your role and you played it well. You came in and within months stuck up for our stars unlike others who have been here for years. Hope you get to play somewhere.

-Vintage Canuck-
Vancouver Canucks @VanCanucks GM Jim Benning just spoke briefly. Said Sestito on waivers was for playing time reasons, "he said he'd rather be playing than sitting" Vancouver Canucks @VanCanucks Benning: No forward will be called up at the moment, Sestito had a great attitude about everything and Jim is excited to see Kass return. Riviera82
Too bad, always liked Sestito. He's our only true heavy. Did he ever actually win a fight though? Seems like more often than not he was the one to get dropped.
theminister
I suppose I'm in the minority that thinks he'll get claimed. I'm thinking NJ picks him up. Re-unite him with Tim. They could use a depth body as they have a revolving door on the 4th line/5th line and have never found a tough guy to replace Janssen.
