Penguins Malkin and Adams involved in bloody fight in practice

Maybe Geno clipped him with a stick before the brawl (and that's how it started)? Adams looks pretty bloody for a fist fight and he was standing on top of Geno when the fight "ended" - if he got punched so hard his mouth looks like that I'm pretty sure it would be the other way around.

When the Canucks used to stream their practices online, I was always surprised by how heated their battle drills got. It's a fine line between competing hard vs. almost injuring a team mate.

Anyways, Malkin clearly defies the Russian stereotype. Looks like he destroyed Adams. Boys will be boys. I'm sure he'll buy Adams a beer and everything will be fine.

Never liked Malkin from the WJC days when he flipped the bird at Canadian fans as he got kicked out of the game. Always cut Ovy some slack as he was pretty classy in that same series when Canada hit him out of the same game.

It was Malkin who hit Mitchell from behind driving him into the boards. Put him out for how long? Nearly ended Mitchell's career. DOPS had no problem with that play but then again it was Malkin. Not surprised it was stick work that drew the blood.

Both went in and Gino high sticked Adams. Adams bleeding and understandably angered retaliated and a bit of a scrum ensued.

^ I think the bleeding was mostly from the high stick

Got hit with a high stick apparently.

but was it a high stick?
