Doesn't make it true anymore than a fans vote makes a player worthy of an all star team. Just complete nonsense really as it gives legitimate players less of a chance ot represent their team when having a good season. Like the Team canada nonsense by taking draft picked players for the world juniors over players deserving because of their play that year. next year we should start a group that votes only for the biggest plugs. the McGrattons, Sestitos, Scotts Tootoos etc and just screw the hockey world up A first ballot all star team of nothing but plugs and goons would seriously make them re-think this crap Sestito is not a plug. Nobody cared about the Hawks before 2010 now everyone is apparently a fan. I just did, you chose to ignore it. Pears please. It would be the equivalent of me blaming people for not liking the Grizzlies when they were here. Terrible ownership, better sport around, terrible F/O, and some of the worst put together rosters in history. I'll explain some more. My screenshot program was being weird, so I had to include the whole screen. Look at that, look at years prior/after and look at the years they were crap. Also, go look at the Canucks' attendance when they were crapty in the late eighty's and the late ninety's Wow!!! They had probably the craptiest owner in sports for decades. The team was never good. It's not easy to get behind a team that is that bad, that has shown no intention of improving, and it's the least popular sport in the country. Might I also add, they had Michael Jordan dominate that city? Over the last ten years, you can argue that they've been a top five fanbase. The Wolves played a big part too. In 1994, Hawks fan were given a new option for professional hockey...it was a fraction of the cost, only 10 miles down the expressway, and they had an owner that tried to win every year. During the five year dead era of the Hawks, the Wolves either led the AHL in attendance, or finished second. Its no mystery where alot of Hawks fans went. Watched a few, years ago and thought they were so boring so just don't bother with it anymore. However, if they are to do fan-voting (which they should continue because lets face it, the All-Star game/weekend is for the fans) then they should limit it to 2 picks per team per vote. By that I mean you can pick Toews and Kane but then be ineligible to pick any other Hawk for that voting. I also think they should limit to one vote per day, I know when I was younger when I used to vote for stuff after my initial vote I wouldn't be allowed to do so again (on the same computer at least).
