Odd.
To Phoenix: Zack Kassian Joakim Eriksson To Vancouver: Max Domi 4th round pick Eventually Domi Horvat Virtanen Shinkaruk McCann Jensen Domi's performance in the world juniors has sky-rocketed his value. Kassian and Ericsson for Domi AND a pick is just insulting. Kassian has been inconsistent all his career despite putting third line points last year. However his value is not really huge and Ericsson has little trade value. If you were Arizona... Would you trade your arguably best prospect and a 4th for a Kassian alone? Kassian has potential but inconsistent. And inconsistency is always a scare for management. ps: its arizona now
elvis15
Yeah, no. Arizona wouldn't do it and I don't think we need to get smaller and more unproven at the NHL level than Kassian. Just because Domi's doing well at the World Juniors right now, doesn't mean he'll be a sure fire success in the NHL.
Rex425
Arizona won't accept that. At all.
Mr.53
Maybe if you did Kassian, Markstrom instead of Ericsson
Benchsplinters
To Phoenix: Zack Kassian Joakim Eriksson To Vancouver: Max Domi 4th round pick Eventually Domi Horvat Virtanen Shinkaruk McCann Jensen Pipe dream at best. Domi has done well in the juniors but that is certainly no measure for what he will do in the NHL. He is small and has yet to play against the best seasoned hockey players in the world. I hope he does well but I will just wait and see at this juncture in his very infant career.

Canuck Surfer
Guys keep things in perspective. Kass is a 6'3'' 215 lb forward who has already made his NHL team and is a regular. Also for perspective he was a 13th overall selection in the first round. Domi is a 12th overall selection; pretty comparable. Sure he has higher upside, but also much greater risk that he may never become a productive NHL player. At 5'10'' and 195 lbs he does not have the automatic physical tools to make him effective against NHL calibre bodies and athletes. Hockeys Future rates him a D probability to meet his potential, which is a top line player. Kass FWIW was rated as having 2knd line potential and a B rating or much better chance of getting there at draft age. And guess where Kass is at? A hot tourney should not place Domi's value higher than a legit NHL player who is just 24 years of age. Then add to it that you would set the team back 2 to 4 years, IF Domi reaches his potential. Thats a lot of opportunity cost. Just my opinion. But I would not do this deal!
