Tortorella's Rant
The best response the western journalism and publication can do is to keep on with their depiction of Mohammad in drawings, writings, satirical cartoons, and so on.
Bocivus
Relax. They're just misunderstood. We need to be more forgiving to these kinds of incidents and learn to be more toooollllerant.
sam13371337
was a paris terrorist thread locked because of muslim members complaining? I don't understand your thread title to be honest. RIP to the victims of this tragedy. This for me seals it. Middle east nations like Syria, egypt and Libya need a gadaffi, SISI and Assad. Iron fisted rulers who know how to deal with extremist miscreants. When these savage animals scream allah Akbar and behead Syrian soldiers, their Western apologists just dismiss as them saying "god is great" in Arabic, and blame the government with recycled talking points.. enough is enough. STOP SUPPORTING THESE MAGGOTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST. just yesterday the US started a plan to train 15000 more of them. this after the TOW anti tank missiles they gave to "moderate islamists" (W.E the EFF that means) was gifted/surrendered to Al nusra rats/ and isis monkeys. The Bookie
‘Respect for religion’ has become a code phrase meaning ‘fear of religion.’ Religions, like all other ideas, deserve criticism, satire, and, yes, our fearless disrespect.

avelanch
these are the cartoons.... i hope CDC doesn't get a virus or something... some (most) of them are intentionally offensive. seems like they were poking the bear on this, not knowing how crazy those extremists are, or at least thinking that it'll never happen to them. elvis15
You should know well enough, canuckster, to create a thread with a little more substance to it than that. If people aren't discussing it, perhaps they aren't aware of it (like me). If people are, maybe they're discussing it somewhere else. If you want to discuss it here, share the story so people know what you're talking about without either seraching to see what happened or waiting for someone else to reply and fill them in. But based on the ammo in avelanch's post, I'd say this is something people surely are discussing since it's not just one of the infrequent, isolated incidents that seem to come up every once in awhile. taxi
so as not to offend the muslims that frequent this forum? People haven't found a way to blame this tragedy on capitalism, America, secret banking conspiracists, or Israel yet. No threads. Don't worry though, when they find their angle we'll see at least six threads.
Warhippy
So are we just going to ignore what's happening in israel? Where Israelis are basically becoming the most restrictive religious state on the planet? Are we just going to ignore what's happening in Uganada Nigeria and nairobi where Christian governments are jailing or executing gay and lesbian couples? Are we just going to ignore what is happening in Protestant areas of Ireland where women and some minorities have less rights than animals? You know so as to not offend the closet racists that frequent this forum. Don't dare sit on a soap box with a misleading title and NO substance at all (seriously at least Freebuddy attempts to pretend to put effort in to his threads) I struggle not to beat my head against a wall when I see how ignorant some people are. Islamists or religious radicals NOT Muslims. There is a very large difference between the two and the ignorance of people who refuse to acknowledge that fact is frigging mind numbing. I mean really the mayor and over 80k people in Calgary are muslims. Who have they killed? The Muslim community in vancouver is over 100k strong, who have they killed again? Learn to differentiate between the two and I might take you more seriously. And before you pipe up, I am not a muslim, not a terrorist sympathizer nor am I some religious idiot. I am simply someone who demands you get it right before intentionally inflaming and entire forum with such nonsense

They knew how crazy they were. The main author was protected by a policemen at all time during the day. Their building was set on fire in 2011. desiboynux4lifee*******
Like I said before, Muhmand was a messenger of love and peace, im sure he taught his followers tolerance. If his followers will continue to do this? Problem remains Sufism is ignored by fundamental Muslims, but Sufism is the inner light of Islam. Can't be Muslim without being a true Sufi. http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-22356306 a story about Monks killing Muslims. LOL wow Religion has become so misunderstood by society; what a great world we live yaaaaaaay!

Don't worry though, when they find their angle we'll see at least six threads. when the US supported al Qaeda and their BFF named Osama bin laden. The great freedom fighter bin laden was killing soviet troops in Afghanistan. so he was good guy who deserved American support and weaponry. how did that turn out? when the US has started mass arming and supporting the terrorists in Syria and Libya (because they didn't like those governments) the chickens come home to roost once more . only someone ignorant of current events and history cant put 2 and 2 together before Syria and Libya became failed states/ terrorist factories thanks to murican "democracy projects" they had a stable (though admittingly imperfect) governments who kept these animals behind cages and provided stable governance for their people. how has it turned out?? I personally don't want to distract from the subject matter, being the victims of this tragedy. but there is certainly enough blame to go around. YEGCanuck
Hey boys and girls let's chill out here a moment. The core of this conversation is about the basic freedom of speech as expressed through the media. This is a fundamental premise of any democracy, something free thinking individuals everywhere should be able to support.

The core of this conversation is about the basic freedom of speech as expressed through the media. This is a fundamental premise of any democracy, something free thinking individuals everywhere should be able to support. The thing about free speech is it's bound to piss people off when you say or do something that is expressly against their ideals. Get someone angry enough or radical enough and they'll say something back. IN this case they allowed AK-47's to do their talking
