Jedaco
I'm just throwing this out there. Vancouver doesn't have any first line forward prospects other than Virtanen. Edmonton is in need of a heart and soul type centre. Is this a reasonable trade in terms of current value? tx
Dral
Oilers wouldn't do it because Horvat isn't the type of player they are looking for - he's not soft enough

Ghostsof1915
No. The only way I'd trade Horvat to Edmonton is if they gave us their 1st rounder this year, and 2nd rounder, and a 2nd rounder in 2016.

Big Old Orca
No. I hope Yapupov stays in Edmonton
Erik Karlsson
I'd do Gaunce + + Yakupov is going to start lighting it up on a different team. He had a great rookie season till Eakins coached all the creativity and confidence out of him.

Guest Cuporbust2
I have nothing against Horvat, but talk about overvaluing his worth.??? Yakopov has 9 points in 40 games And he's a minus 20 Playing on the second line in his third NHL season. Horvat as a rookie has 7 in 25 playing on the fourth, not to mention a great attitude and work ethic. How u come to that conclusion ?
Rush17
Yakapov is like a fish. Slippery... slimy.... Yakky... Only if it were for cheap. Horvat is a gem we are lucky we landed him. no to yak unless its for hansen +. be nice to have someone with speed who could finish. Bo is a no go though unless the player coming back fills one of 2 important needs. number 1 center or number 1 d. that is just my fishy opinion though :D (I dont think hes actually a fish but felt right lol)
Mathew Barzal
In a heartbeat, Oilers wouldn't though. They could land a bigger fish for a 1st overall.
Nas19
EDIT: No. God no. No. Not a chance in hell would I trade Horvat for Yakupov. Yak is a bust. He's going to run off to Russia when his contract is up.

Yakupov is not a 1st line player, he's not even an NHL player!

That's less than Dorsett and the same number of points as Chris Tanev!!!!! Not to mention he's a huge defensive liability.
