apollo
Honestly man I think that's an overpayment. It'll be interesting to see what yandle actually fetches though come deadline time.
Pimp C
No thanks we Yandle is already 28.
Captain_Burrows
He'll go for a first rounder (20-30) and a top 9 forward at the deadline. Will cost us 1st round pick and Kassian. I'd rather wait on Kass to Develop. But I would like to grab Yandle to improve odds. If they do it for Higgins and a 1st im in.

desiboynux4lifee*******
Even with Yandle this team will have many flaws, Lets just rebuild already or retool, and not give away our first rounders. Did we forget the famous Ballard trade, that made us lose Quinten Howden and Grabner lol

Did we forget the famous Ballard trade, that made us lose Quinten Howden and Grabner lol Though I agree that the Canucks shouldn't be giving up assets for a player like Yandle at this point in the team's re-tooling, it cracks me up anytime someone brings up that we "lost" Quinten Howden. Great, we "lost" a kid who has done nothing as a professional hockey player and has all the makings of a pro career as successful as that of Patrick White. And Grabner...it was a choice between him or Raymond and at the time Grabner wasn't going to beat out Raymond who was coming off of a 25G-28A-53PT season and would have been exposed to waivers because Chicago Wolves was where Grabner was destined. Circumstantial context that is obviously lost on this dude^^^.

Did we forget the famous Ballard trade, that made us lose Quinten Howden and Grabner lol Howden would've fit our planned style better for the future but IMO we needed like Kuznetsov, Etem, Coyle, or Toffoli more. HC20.0
That is a big over payment on our part. Take Kassian out and upgrade the 2nd to a first and that might be closer.
Canuck Surfer
How many years on Yandle's contract? (This year and next by memory...?) I am not in the sell good young players, prospects and picks for veterans with only a year or two on their term with us. Do not think the value is that far off though. A tad high but... Yandle is a hell of a player! That is a big over payment on our part. Take Kassian out and upgrade the 2nd to a first and that might be closer. Better... Everyone else seems to think 2015 first are worth more than wisdom from Gandhi?

The problem is, everyone wants to win now, and make all these trades to upgrade us today, but they still are also like "Don't you give away that first round pick unless it's for Stamkos!", so our 2015 second goes in every proposal, because the present, and our 2015 first rounder is too good to move, because the future.
