some interesting things from today.

probably a world record for different jerseys at a game

every german team was represented and they have a lot of different versions of each team.

every nhl team was worn. saw canucks normal, third, purple v, skate in stick, messier era.

lots of oilers wayne the man number 99

most countries national

many university

ex canuck alexander sulzer played

lots of german love the canucks and watch every game on gamecenter I was told by ten different people.

there is hockey fan clubs that travel around and get points for seeing games in different buildings

the guy beside me had watched professional hockey in 185 different arenas including rogers.

I was invited by the club to go see the under 17s in april.

met a guy who who a few years ago had daniel sedin sign his jersey and waited around and finally found henrick but when he went to sign it daniel explained that he hadnt found henrick but had tracked down daniel again so daniel took his jersey to henrick.

player of the game was Chris Sparre from Ontario. Most German teams have 5 or 6 Canadians.

A lot of beer was had before during and after the game with 54000 attending.

try watching band of brothers on german tv, both sides speak in german and they dont even change the accents or anything. at least in our old war movies the germans spoke english with funny accents.

might actually download it for the entertainment factor alone :)

I bet it was a hell of an atmosphere at that game though

Don't get me wrong, I think this is really awesome.

But I had to laugh at that sentence. I thought of a bunch of panther fan jokes.

if ten people approach you at one game to say they watch the canucks from germany it means 100s of german fans like the the canucks, just in my one section two guys were wearing canucks stuff along with their german jerseys. i ran into 5 daniel sedins who called me their twin because i had on a henrik jersey. in other words the canucks are popular in germany.
