Kesler+Horvat
To Vancouver: ============== Matt Duchene To Colorado: ============== Dan Hamhuis Chris Higgins 1st 2016 OR To Vancouver: ============== Ryan O'Reilly 1st 2015 To Colorado: ============== Dan Hamhuis Chris Higgins 2nd 2016 Are these fair deals? Obviously unrealistic but value wise and team needs wise they both make sense.

YEGCanuck
Wow, talk about over-valuing our players. These proposals are non-starters. The Avs may consider if you subtract their first round pick from the equation.

McBackup
Colorado's GM hangs up the phone laughing on the second deal. Also Defense is a spot of weakness for us right now so I don't know why you want to trade away our best defender.
Warhippy
Not sure how this is over valuing our players knowing Colorado's serious need for veteran bottom 6 players AND serious defensive help and mentorship for their younger players. That 2nd deal Colorado drives O'Reilly to vancouver packs him a lunch and giggles all the way home. that 1st deal is a non starter as it would be like us giving up Dan or Hank and nothing short of MacDavid I think pries Duchene from Sakic and Roy
Nuxfanabroad
Poor ROR..everyone laughs at the guy here in Japan. They say his name is abbreviated for, "Raugh out Roud."
Canuck Surfer
2knd deal is not that far off value wise. Because ROR is UFA in just a bit. As such, I'm personally not up for expending too many assets for him. Its not like we'll be a cup contender before he leaves, us without Hamhuis either. Trading Hammer creates almost as a big a hole for us as getting ROR solves. As to the first deal? Let's just say teams don't trade their still young, amongst fastest in the NHL, top line centres quite that readily... edit: didnt notice that 1st rounder coming our way in the 2knd deal. Yeah I suppose it is out. ROR >> Hamhuis and Higgins is not that significant a throw in where they have spending big on our guys.
apollo
Honestly I think you got the values down pretty fair. If I had to chose one deal, I would take duchene. Imagine duchene and the sedins... Would immediately become one of the top 3 lines in the nhl. I'm not very high on ROR though. Good proposals, but I don't see Burnaby joe pulling the trigger. Ryan Strome
Colorado wouldn't do either deal.

I still think they wouldn't do that. They could use Hamhuis, but he's not getting any younger. Higgins isn't that significant for them even if he'd help. The value probably is close in the deals, but they don't really make sense.
duc_evo
We are keeping Hammer period.
shanghai owey
Honestly ROR could be a pretty good trade for nucks to go after. It gives us a young centre for years to come, and it allows us to stay competitive while the sedins age What about something like ROR for Bo horvat ( who is a ror in the making, prob wont be able to put up as many points tho), Bieska ( who gives veteran presence and toughness on the backend), and Hansen or higgins, someone who is responsible, chip in offensivlely and fill in holes in their line up. OR ROR for hamhuis which would give them a really solid top 4. And either Jensen/higgins/ hansen Probably aren't trades that would go thru but with some tinkering nucks could prob offer an appealing package. Could then push boino outwide and have ROR in the middle. Whatchu think?
Kesler+Horvat
IMO ROR is a younger LH Kesler. Hamhuis + Higgins for ROR + 2nd makes sense.
