William_Clarkson
? What's the issue Johansen's a franchise center and Bonino is a 2nd/3rd line center, Kassian's a 3rd line winger who is having trouble finding his potential, and the 16' 1st will probably be a 2nd liner. Canuckstildeath
Well a few adjustments could be made, Kassian could fill hortons spot in Columbus, Johansen wants out anyways, we could probably add one or two more pieces to make a good deal

Take out the bolded IMO. But still the Canucks underpay.
Baer.
Could see the Jackets wanting Horvat in the deal. The pieces are there, we just gotta figure out how to get it done. Doesn't look like enough so far.

slappipappi
If the BJ's decide to move Johansen, most teams would line up with an offer. The offering the best premium prospect/young player would likely head the list. I'm guessing that is not Bonino. The players going back would hurt. DownUndaCanuck
Don't underestimate a 1st round pick. That could end up being as high as the 13th overall pick if we bomb hard, if not higher, and in a very deep 2015 draft that's essentially a player similar to the likes of Dal Colle or Draisaitl in the 2014 draft. Bonino would give the team some stability down the middle (50 current NHL points), Kassian could provide grit but also some current production (30 current points) and the 1st round pick will likely be a top-6 forward/top-4 defenceman, producing decently in around 3-4 years time (60ish future points). That's 80 current NHL points + around 60 future NHL points (plus 30 from Bonino and maybe up to 40 for Kassian in the future), compared to 80 current NHL points from Johansen and 80 future points in the next few years. Pretty fair deal production wise.
