Both aren't playoff teams. How bout that?

Keeping Giroux and Voracek off the score sheet and thats how you look at it?

Getting a shut out against ANY team in the NHL, regardless of it being Edmonton, Buffalo, or Carolina is a great feat. You obviously have no idea on how much skill it takes to make any team in the NHL. The worst team in the NHL is still way better than the best team in the AHL, whom is still WAY better than the best team in juniors...etc...

Each tier of hockey thins the herd until the elite are left.

LOL what?!

Beating a team lower than you in the standings doesn't mean you're better than them, or conversely you're worse. When you play 82 games stats change radically based on 3 game stretches, what is at the 30 game mark is not the same as what is at the 70 game mark, especially when teams haven't played the same number of games.

In a sport like NFL, where they play 16 games that comes closer to the truth because there are less games to actually prove your acumen in.

The basic point here is basing any type of thought on winning or losing on any given night, to any given team in the NHL is basically retarded. Given the parity in the league you need to grow up and understand the sport.
