artful_dodger
Just what it says. The Canucks leading the league in PK. Their play while down a man is impressive to say the least. Their pressure on the puck and energy to win battles is incredible. How can they play at that level 5 on 5? Or even more so on the PP? Kudos to the team, just wish they could translate that to the other aras of the game!
TOMapleLaughs
Chicago's tops at the moment, but we've been quite good, yes. We're witnessing the rise of the Edler-Tanev pairing, our defensemen entering or in their prime.
c00kies
I think we should try to play shorthanded the whole game...oh wait, that will happen in the playoffs.
Mathew Barzal
Hard work doesn't mean we have offensive creativity. Hard work is 30% of the battle to being a great offensive team. Our players just don't have the ability to think at that level, barring the Sedins, Burrows, Vey and Bonino.
Nuxfanabroad
I like the strategy where they constantly throw an extra man out on the ice, enabling them to get a PK opportunity. Clever.
yoshiyoshi
i was wondering if they were doing that to pad their PK numbers
TheRussianRocket.
PK has been the lifeline of this team. Really been clutching it out every game. And yea, only if they could score more. JB did say yesterday he wouldn't mind trading for a scoring forward so that looks promising.

wallstreetamigo
Our pk is so good because they are ultra aggressive. Unlike our pp or 5 on 5 play most of the time There is a lesson to be learned there.

wallstreetamigo
That's what I mean... Why do they, especially on the PP, take their sweet a** time? They look for the perfect set up passing plays far too much. The real issue is the top pp only has one set strategy that they use. Shut that down and they have nothing. They know henrik wont shoot or even Daniel very often. So they make sure vrbata is blanketed and pressure the point hard so the shots dont get through. Then back to henrik to start it all over again. The other team is happy to let the sedins cycle away the whole pp. The pp needs some creativity and unpredictability.

Clever...or natural selection? Perhaps they have mutated and adapted to survive in a hostile environment after so many years of being on the wrong side of the whistle? Chalk one up for Darwin? Ronalds.Kenins41
After the Boston, LA and SJ series I think the entire team realizes the importance of a good PK.
Slegr
We'd be sunk if not for a strong PK. Refs penalize the Canucks with the most extreme PP / PK differential in the first periods of games of all 30 teams. Attempts to have other teams score first goal have failed thanks largely to Tanev and Edler.
