Buffalo closing in on the league record of most losses in a row

While I was looking this up earlier today to see what the record was which I suspected was something like 17 games. I discovered that the Sharks lost 71 games in 1992; I'll let that sink in for a moment..

LOL

wasnt that their debut season? that could probably be a write off, considering where they are now and havent folded. the sabres have been around as long as the canucks have and i dont think even in the canucks' worst years have sucked as much as buffalo does now

They'll beat the record. <_<

At least you'll be happy seeing as that you will most likely get McDavid. UNLESS we miss the playoffs and with our 1% chance of getting first overall, we get it :D

I'd settle for Eichel as a consolation prize. I just have a bad feeling that the Oilers are going to end up finishing, just ahead of the Sabres, in 29th place and then go on to win the lottery/McDavid. McDavid to Edmonton would not be good for the league.

man i seriously feel embaressed for the Buffalo fan base and the players there that are used to winning mentality like Gorges and Gionta.

It's part of the business, I guess.

They're a young team and the fanbase is realistic about them. They're going to get a good pick and rebound.

Still not sure why Gionta left a Stanley Cup contender in Montreal for a basement dweller in Buffalo.
