ShakyWalton
I have to say I am a french fry freak....which ones do you like ?.. I like the fries at McDonalds but they are pretty mundane compared to some others..White Spot has good fries and a never ending policy with their orders..but most of the fast food outlets have basic fries..ones you wouldnt write home about.. Burger Haven has really good wedge fries and Cockney Kings has good ones as well..usually fresh and piping hot when they arrive and great with a little vinnegar or tartar sauce.. Trolls in Horseshoe Bay are good as well...never been a poutine guy and now that Im older I definitely try to cut down on the grease and gravies... I dont even mind McCains spicey wedge kind,, not bad and little grease,,they say French Fries really arent French but started in Belgium..I had them there and they werent bad similar to the Dutch ones.. I think my favorite french fries were in Amsterdam..at a little kiosk outside the main station...hot,, fresh and some sort of Mayo that was great...heres to French Fries..cheers.. Link to comment

Grapefruits
During football season, I usually get the short rib poutine at BC Place. It's really good. Arby's curly fries are awesome, but there aren’t any locations that are close to me anymore. I went to Carl's Jr in Abbotsford the other night. They have crisscut fries that are amazing. For store bought its Alexia fries for me. Little pricey, but taste amazing! Link to comment
Mimerez
Costco fries. Those things are heavenly. Link to comment
King Heffy
Pig pulled pork poutine in Victoria. Insanely delicious. Link to comment

Western Red
Real cut fries like the white spot/ Triple 0. Are the way to go, many of the fast food chain and costco brands are processed, pressed fries. GROSS.Personally, if they dont have skin on the ends, I won't eat them.Think of McDonalds fries as deep fried Pringles... cuz that is what they are. Sapped of nutrients. Noting but fat and carbs. Happy early onset diabetes Fries are actually gaining popularity due to being gluten free, but to the masses who have nothing but condiments in their fridge.. it really doesn't matter. I gotta agree with you there best fries I ever had where from a kiosk in Amsterdam smothered in mayo. So freaking good honestly I don't eat fries that much and if I do they're poutine. That said those fries in Amsterdam rank up there as one of the best fast food items I've ever had if not the single best. Link to comment

Vera's burger has hand cut fries as well. I do like McDonald’s fries from time to time. After all, everything in moderation and you'll live just fine. Link to comment

elvis15
Good fries with malt vinegar for sure, but I tend not to eat fast food fries. I'll do curly fries from Arby's sometimes, and definitely do poutine of almost any kind, but one of my favourites is Jeffers Fries, a food truck in Penticton that's been open since I was a kid and is essential eating downtown after a night at the bar in the summer. KFBR392
Fries are pretty bad ass. I rarely eat them, and always get sick when I do... but I still like 'em. Link to comment

Fakename70
Who doesn't love French fries? Especially with tartar sauce (easy on the dill, please)! Or, mayonaise. Not such a fan of fries with ketchup, though. I think that's pretty gross. And, steak fries? Always! But, shoe string? What am I, 6? Why restaurants sell shoe string fries to adults I'll never understand. Not really a fan of the poutine-with-meat options, but, just plain (turkey) gravy and curds will do just fine. Link to comment
ManUtd
I love fries, but hate poutine. Thank you. I find poutine absolutely vile. I really freaking hate gravy and can't even choke it down though so that's probably why. Link to comment
