sharbinder
To Winnipeg: Sam Reinhart + 2nd Round Pick To Buffalo: Evander Kane I believe this works out great for both sides. Reasoning being if Kane needs surgery , he will be out for the season. Which means he won't be on the roster so it does not help improve them this year. For Winnipeg they get a potential #1 center , As it is unsure if MS55 will reach that potential . Buffalo can afford to give up SR23 as they have a very good chance , Of either landing McDavid or Eichel , who gives them that #1 center. Also with Grigs & the latvian they have centre depth to support the loss.
Pears
Winnipeg has Scheifele and Little as their top 2 centers with Petan being 1-2 years away from being ready. No need for Reinhart.
ken kaniff
Buffalo would never do that.
sharbinder
Little does not have the ceiling that Reinhart has , he should not be their 1st line center . Petan is essentially boom or bust with his game in the NHL .
Aladeen
When was the last time a player out for 6+ months was traded? Does this even happen? Not being a jerk about your proposal I am actually interested. Why all the Kane trade proposals as soon as it is announced he is out for the season? Not being a jerk about your proposal I am actually interested. Why all the Kane trade proposals as soon as it is announced he is out for the season? It happens occasionally that a player on IR is traded, but 4-6 months is an exception. Then again this whole situation is an exception anyway, so I wouldn't try and compare it to anything anyway. But I don't think Buffalo does this. If Kane doesn't like Winnipeg and wants out, what makes the Sabres think he'd want to be there?
