Down by the River
Don't know why TB would want to let a guy like that potentially poison their prospect pool.

Dazzle
Don't know why TB would want to let a guy like that potentially poison their prospect pool. Saskatoon’s Ashton was drafted by the Lightning 29th overall in the 2009 NHL Draft. Mississauga’s Broll, 22, was taken 152nd overall by the Maple Leafs in the 2011 NHL Draft. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs-trade-carter-ashton-david-broll-to-tampa-bay-lightning-for-conditional-pick/

A late first round pick from six years ago. About as valuable as when the Canucks picked up Zach Hamil, except the latter didn't test positive for steroids. RonMexico
Why does every small trade lead people to believe it's a precursor to large trade in the works??
LeanBeef
And David Broll for conditional 7th round pick. Looks like Toronto is dumping contracts to make room for some incoming i remember when some leafs fan told me that Broll would at the very least become a Kyle Clifford type player. Solinar
I guess that is more a guess than not, but considering some of the rumours circulating around the Leafs, it probably isn't unreasonable to assume that maybe someone there would have some balls to try get some value and trade a player for 2 or 3 incoming. And seeing as how most teams hover close to the 50 max contracts they can have, in order to do something like this, you'd have to clear room. Dazzle
Clen isn't much of a steroid. What are the benefits of clenbuterol? Clenbuterol is mainly used as a fat-loss drug; almost exclusively in cutting cycles. Most users are amazed at the increase in lean mass after clen use. That’s because studies have shown that it can increase your fat free mass and increase your basal metabolic rate (BMR), while acting as an anti-catabolic and anabolic. Clenbuterol has amazing properties: it’s a fat loss pill with the ability to aid muscle retention, decrease muscle loss and boost aerobic capacity. In simple terms, you get big and ripped! http://www.evolutionary.org/clenbuterol Sounds like a perfect steroid drug to me...

It's no where near as extreme as the stuff A Rod and other baseball players are using. I've heard so many guys at UBC taking them

HC20.0
Looks like a contract dump by Toronto. What the hell happened to Ashton? A late first round pick with good potential to drug addict and minor leaguer. Pretty sad.
