Gordie Howe Video On Olbermann's ESPN Show

I checked to see if anybody had posted a video of Gordie Howe playing hockey with his grandson and I didn't see one, so if it was already posted feel free to cry the blues knowing that it will be locked or deleted soon enough.

Anyways if you remember, Mr. Hockey was on his deathbed after suffering a stroke a few months ago and after having a stem cell treatment shortly thereafter, he's made a miraculous recovery. I'm going to post the Olbermann report on it because after showing the video a few times of Gordie playing hockey he interviews Mr. Hockey's son, who is a radiologist, about the whole thing. It's an interesting and informative video.

Just to clarify there is more than one rink in Saskatoon; it's the Kinsmen arena is going to be renamed in Godie's honor. There are a lot of places named in his honor in the city. There was some footage on the news last night of Gordie walking around and looked to be doing well for a man his age, never mind one who seemed to be on his death bed only a few months ago.

Looks like he could still skate circles around the Oilers ;) At the very least he's tougher than them.

Just a few months ago, I don't think anyone would have seen this coming. Having said that, if anybody were to recover like this, it would be Gordie Howe, one of the toughest players to ever play and a man who has defied age throughout his entire career. It's great to see him doing so well, and of course, credit goes to the doctors and researchers who made this happen.

Goodness this is amazing. I didn't get to see Gordie play at all, but at least I've been able to witness his incredible determination, even off this ice. It's probably much like in the 50s when he crashed into the boards and almost died the head trauma, but still managed to recover.
