Brick Tamland
Just looking at players with some personality issues who are younger and have lots to prove. I wonder if WD would be the right guy to correct these guys and get them on the right track? Anyone one of these guys could break out. Kassian hasn't worked with WD, but he's a different type of player.
c00kies
It's difficult to say, but I think Kane needs a veteran HC like Quennville or Babcock to turn him around because he'll respect their authoritah.
JohnScott
Kane would likely turn it around in Van IMO because of Linden and playing with the Sedins. I'd be all for bringing him here as long as they don't ask for some crazy overpayment. Would not give up Virtanen.
Warhippy
WD is a failure with Kassian But can reign in kane, get production out of Yak and make Kadri a better 2 way player. Maybe just maybe he should work on getting any of the above issues out of the roster he has before trying to take on issue players from other teams. If he cannot get goals out of a 2nd PP unit let alone a 2nd line, not sure he's gonna be successful with any of those guys
ken kaniff
Kane and Yak would be awesome with the Canuck. Its 50/50 with Kane. He either smartens up so he doesn't embarrass the team and turns out to be excellent or he parties even more because it's his hometown. With Yak, I think he just needs out of Edmonton. I would love to get both of those guys on the Canucks. Would make our team a lot more entertaining for sure. As for Kadri, I don't like him, therefore we shouldn't get him. Plus he doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. He's matured and is a leader for the Laffs.

Phil_314
I'd easily buy low on Kane (and Yak if the Oil would sell low). Evander seems like one of those guys who's just undisciplined because of how young and immature he is, but he's skilled and physical. If we could have a tough-love leader in the room to talk with him, show him how to live the NHL player life well and get him to buy in, Evander can easily change course and become a top-end asset to teams. Brick Tamland
I wonder if there other young players, underachieving that could break out. I like Tom Wilson in Washington but he is so young and such a nice piece for them. We need goals, any of the 3 mentioned could provide goals. Warhippy
I'd be all for any of the above. But I'd be hard pressed to see how they could help this season. Integrating players like that is something best done in the off season
Toews
I don't any of these guys to come particularly cheap. Even with Kane the guy still has a good compete level. He may have problems off the ice and that should affect his value but some team is going to think high enough of him to pay a pretty decent price for him. Can Vancouver match that? Imo they shouldn't, considering the Canucks position and where they are headed I don't think its worth it to sacrifice significant pieces of the prospect pool to add Kane. Kadri imo is a better player than Kane. And if I am the Leafs he is one of the last players I trade. I don't know why you think he is a problem. From what I have seen of him, he is one of the hardest working players on that team. His skill and role as a pest helps draw penalties. I think he has the most penalties draw/TOI both this year and last year. He is a valuable player who will probably get a big raise this year. He has also improved defensively and plays the tougher matchups. Again can the Canucks afford to pay him the 5M he will earn this year and give up significant assets. Relyt Krets
If it wouldnt cost us much... id take Kane. He is still young though immature but he has proved he can be a scoring winger in the league. Can also throw his weight. Would be what all of us wanted Kassian to be and then some. Heck maybe they'd take Kassian as the return
JohnScott
It's pretty unlikely that WPG would trade Kane before the deadline. They'd probs wait til the draft when he isn't injured and has higher value.

Pimp C
Only players that "work" with Desjardins are ones that are either over 30, played in Medicine Hat, or instructed by management to make look good.
