Borvat - Very nice!

Bo Horvat's coming along nicely and even as part of the fourth line logging decent minutes. After a slow start, he's been noticeably improving.

Even the offensive production's been up with 5 points in his last 8.

It felt like the Canucks recently had a lack of young talent that could stay in the lineup, and the ones that developed were traded. But the recent drafts added a positive outlook (Virtanen, Shinkaruk, McCann, etc.) and it seems like Bo's the first of these players to break through.

Really hope he turns into a great player for the Canucks. Hopping on the Bo-andwagon.

I hope to see him get some 3rd line time soon. If not this year, then for sure next year.

He played 15 minutes tonight, not exactly "fourth line" ice time. He was also put up against Crosby and Malkin tonight. Huge amounts of trust shown there by the coach. More what I would consider third line duties, if you ask me. If he can keep it up, he'll stay there.

True. I forget that Willie D doesn't really subscribe to the notion of "lines".

Did you coin that because you heard Shorty say it in the game? I think just when he scored, but maybe it was another attempt. I could clearly hear him, Obviously it was that he was excited and rushed but he conflated his name down to Bo...rvat!

I like it.

Bo played an excellent game... with his usual defensive standout play plus the offensive flair is beginning to kick it.

He has done all the right things as a rookie... made sure he focused on defensive responsibilities first at his own end of the rink, then only after that, worry about putting up points.

But now he is getting more and more confident offensively... he continues his great play along the wall... he is a rock... very hard to move off the puck... this guy is going to get bigger too. :)
