Skirbs11
With the injuries to the back end and deadline coming close i think it is time to move some veteran players out and get younger pieces moving forward, might cost us the playoffs but could pay dividends in the future First of all not making playoffs gets us a higher first round pick in with we should be able to get another top prospect for our pool Trade 1 To Vancouver- 2nd round pick To NY Rangers-Chris Higgins Basic trade NYR are going to make a playoff run and need some scoring depth we get a 2nd round pick for the price of a rental Trade 2 To Vancouver-Ryan O'reilly + 2nd round pick To Colorado- Dan Hamhuis Colorado rumored to be moving ROR for couple years now Bigger body we miss in our top 6 having an off year, we give up a Solid top 4 Dman that Colorado desperatly needs but have Corrado ready to take over his spot next year Trade 3 To Vancouver- 3rd round pick To NYI- Brad Richardson Bottom 6 player helps them with Faceoffs and PK for the playoffs we move out a aging player and contract and in return get a late 3rd pick To Vancouver- Josh Morriessey To Winnipeg- Jannik Hansen+Zach Kassian+ Eddie Lack Colorado's 2nd round pick Winnipeg Is starting to have a log jam on the Blue line they get a younger forward in Kassian who can change his career around, Hansen adds winger Depth for playoffs as well as 2 picks in a good draft. Canucks get a young Dman with top 4 potential Salary cap Out-13.55 mil Salary cap In-7.5 With salary cap space leaves room when F/A comes around to look at other potential trades/pickups Other potential players we could move: Burrows, Sbisa, Stanton, Weber Lines Next Season Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata- Main Scoring Line Virtanen-Bonino- O'reilly- Secondary scoring with a bit of grit Mathias-Horvat-Burrows- Good defensive line w/ scoring upside Kennins-Gaunce-Dorsett- Mix of size/speed/toughness/scoring on good 4th line Edler-Tanev Bieksa-Morrissey Corrado-Sbisa Stanton/Clendenning Miller Markstrom Most wont agree with the Colorado and Winnipeg Trade they might need tweaking, just looking at outside possibilities to help us get younger
Odd.
I think every single trade except for the Winnipeg one is actually a decent proposal. However even with that package for Morrissey, Winnipeg most likely has Morrissey on the untouchables list. He's going to be a stud and to pry him away is going to be tough. Solid proposals though. Zuongo
Do you think richie could get us a 3rd round pick? Seems a little high at this point in his career
ForsbergTheGreat
Deal 1 -Yep sounds good Deal 2 - Yep, Would give us a bit of a log Jam at 3C, as ROR is a natural center. Wouldn't do this deal until the draft. We'd also have to look at moving Bonino after. Deal 3 - No, I'd Keep richardson for the rest of the year, even though I fully expect him to walk as UFA. You don't always need to get an asset back for a player. He's a key and an important piece piece for this team to help us make the post season. Deal 4 - Jets have no use for a goalie like Lack, Morrisey is going to be a Jet and will start on the bottom pairing and work himself up. in 2-3 years. who knows where big buff will be. He is UFA at the end of next year

Canucks get a young Dman with top 4 potential no idea about this one but i don't think we'd have colorado's 2nd to trade and as previous poster said.. likely a player jets will not trade this offer does not blow anyone's socks off the players being offered from vancouver are middling players at best.. no top 6, and only an unproven back up goalie it is unlikely jets have 3 roster spots available to accommodate all these bodies coming from vancouver either Salary cap Out-13.55 mil Salary cap In-7.5 With salary cap space leaves room when F/A comes around to look at other potential trades/pickups Other potential players we could move: Burrows, Sbisa, Stanton, Weber Lines Next Season Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata- Main Scoring Line Virtanen-Bonino- O'reilly- Secondary scoring with a bit of grit Mathias-Horvat-Burrows- Good defensive line w/ scoring upside Kennins-Gaunce-Dorsett- Mix of size/speed/toughness/scoring on good 4th line Edler-Tanev Bieksa-Morrissey Corrado-Sbisa Stanton/Clendenning Miller Markstrom Most wont agree with the Colorado and Winnipeg Trade they might need tweaking, just looking at outside possibilities to help us get younger
Skirbs11
the Richardson Trade was for NYI not New Jersey, Not that it probably makes a difference in your opinion, but NYI is most likely to make the playoffs and dont really have any playoff experience vets up front and as a trade deadline Rental when it comes to what he would offer in terms of Leadership, faceoffs, PK and consistency i can see a 3rd pick in return after some deadline deals over the years
cripplereh
to many trades at the deadline for one as it takes time to gell and why most teams only have a couple trades no more then two, plus I can't see Hammy waiving to move!
RonMexico
Not quite sure if you heard Linden during the intermission yesterday but the goal is to make the playoffs so proposing yet another blowup is a waste of your brain power.
Ryan Strome
All decent proposals op except the Winnipeg one, they don't need Lack and Morrisey would be to difficult to pry away.

apollo
Honestly you've offered pretty good value on most trades I'd say. That being said though, we're second in the pacific and we aren't sellers.

Thanks, I agree we aren't sellers ATM but with injuries on the blue line if we do go into a slump over the next few games we will not have a playoff spot, and if it came down to it might be worth it to cash in on some players, or at the latest make some draft deals
