Sometimes it is hard to understand how we ever win a game ... everyone has good and bad nights .. the few that don't make the $7+ million a year and even they have off-nights .. true story.

Holy, everybody's undies are on a little too tight. The comment was more to say that even when players seem to be noticeably playing well, sometimes it's ironic that they are on the bad end of the goals while other players are not doing anything to stand out but end the night even or a plus.

Now everyone breath and stop getting your panties in twist.

Its common sense and part of hockey on any team which is why picking one game and particular players to point it out about seems more like it should be a post in one of the threads about those players rather than yet another thread.

And a couple of games ago the matthias kassian dorsett line stood out more than the sedins and veys line. It happens. I dont notice threads popping up unless kassian has a bad game.

You need to take a vacation from protecting Kassian anytime his name is mentioned. He played a lazy game. He was nowhere near as good as the previous 4 games. It was 100% lack of effort. His legs weren't moving as well as he has been.

This isn't a personal attack. This is an observation made about a Canuck player who has found himself in the press box for that kind of effort. He needs to go back to the simple North south game he was playing and play physical.

They said this was more of an opinion from Kipper and hockey central.

They should stick to covering their sad Leafs.

It's getting to be a bit of a sad soap opera.

Every time Lack gets the start, the geniuses at Hockey Central (mostly Kypper and McLean) come out with the trite, "This is an important game! You have to play your #1!!!" This is usually followed by the obligatory, "Don't get me wrong. Lack is a good goalie, but...."

Then Eddie goes out and beats Chicago (or whoever) and the clown car conveniently forgets their collective angst, only to repeat the same tired formula when the next "big game" rolls around and Miller doesn't get the start.

Newsflash for the so-called hockey experts: They're all big games from here on in.

And Miller can't start every one of them...
