Jiggs50
This is the first time ever it seems the Canucks have depth all over the lineup. The way Clendening, Biega, Sbisa have played in the absence of our 3 of our top 4 defensemen is awesome! Corrado our most stable prospect dman is also injured. Despite all that the defence (minus Weber) has played great. Our forward group is one of most versatile in the league imo. And it's deep. Henrik, Bonino, Mathias, Vey, Horvat, Richie all at center. Almost all those guys can play on the wing as well. Bo Horvat and Ronald Kenins have come in and suprised everyone. They shift the momentum of the game so often and have been two of the most important players to this team over the past 3 weeks or so. Kassian is at the bare minimum a pretty solid bottom 6 player and he's on the bench. Richardson and Bonino aren't even playing. Everyone on the team is stepping up. If Miller plays bad, Lack steps up. Players are being pushed on this team for playing time. Who knows how well guys like Sanguinetti, Jensen, Gaunce, Zaleswki, Markstrom might do in the big leagues. It's been fun to watch this team this year. The depth is showing. Thank you Gillis. Thank you JB. Oh yeah and Willie good job but play Kassian! TOMapleLaughs
First time ever? No. I think the 2011 team before the Manny injury may have been the deepest Canuck team ever.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Please its Clendening... But yes the depth is starting show...need to keep the process going from good drafting, to solid UFA signings to developing out own talent from within. Baer.
Isn't it fun when we don't have to choose between Ebbett or Schroeder to center our second line every time Kesler got injured? Isn't it fun when we lose 2 top 6 players and 2 top 4 dmen, yet still have guys in the pressbox. Isn't it nice when you turn on the radio after a loss and the first words you hear aren't "goalie controversy". We needed a culture change, and that's what Linden & Co. have done. Didn't have many call ups that could produce. Our top 9 fwds were amazing though

Noseforthenet
Yes, we have depth. The thing I have been noticing though is, besides the Sedins, our lines don't really have numbers. Last night Horvat had as much TOI as Vrbata and that's on our 4th line. Then we see Linden Vey supposedly centering our 2nd line and he comes in at 10 minutes. Then we see Matthias also coming in at around 15-16 minutes like Horvat and Vrbata. Then Higgins gets almost 18 for some reason, but what center is he playing with to get all that ice time?! The Sedins are playing with Burr (who also got 15-16). There is no rhyme or reason to it. Maybe the PK, but then why is Burr's icetime 3 minutes lower? Just due to the 5 minute major he took? bigbadcanucks
Always thought it was Glen my bad haha That's the guy that plays for the Red Wings. OP's right...the depth on this team is very good. Kassian wouldn't be a healthy scratch without the depth the Canucks have right now.
Wash
Lots of depth yes, but on the forward side it is largely on the 3rd and 4th line quality. It would be nice to have someone on the farm or on the lower lines that could jump up and play in the 2nd line. We really need another sniper IMHO.
