Tom Sestito
^ Dan Murphy @sportsnetmurph · 9m9 minutes ago Frank Corrado is being re-assigned to Utica. Not a paper transaction. On his way to play games with #comets #Canucks

vantbl
Why he can't play any worse then Clendning is playing right now.
Mathew Barzal
He's better than half our D core. When is this guy going to get a legit shot?
Gstank29
Probably a conditioning stint
Ronalds.Kenins41
What? Why is Sbisa, Weber, and the other AHL d core put over him. Might mean one of our d is coming back.
Tom Sestito
Probably a conditioning stint I sure hope so. I was done with Sbisa's pizzas after pre-season. Corrado should be our #4 paired up with Hamhuis.

Canucks1219
How I see it, they want him to get back into game shape but the team is in the middle of a crucial stretch and the coaches probably don't want someone on the back end who's "trying to get back to game speed". desiboynux4lifee*******
He's better than half our D core. When is this guy going to get a legit shot? Never lol. Guys like Bieksa,Weber, Sbisa, Stanton have seniority. That's what matters

on the cycle
It is both a paper transaction and conditioning stint. They want him to be eligible to return to the AHL for playoffs. Seeing as both Tanev and Edler are close to returning and Stanton, Clendening, and Weber have played fairly well there is no need to rush Corrado. viking mama
Utica is on the cusp of going after an AHL championship themselves. Corrado will play a big part in that,..and bring some of that experience back with him to the parent club for the play-offs...if needed for more depth then. It's all good. I agree he needs to work on his defence but you can't deny his offensive and skating ability. Good 6/7 defenceman

I agree he needs to work on his defence but you can't deny his offensive and skating ability. Good 6/7 defenceman I don't understand the hate for Weber at all. The guy is paid less than a mill. He isn't a giveaway machine and he can done 6/7 duties very well. Sbisa had a very good game tonight also.
manicdonkey
Sbisa didn't play very well tonight. I don't mind him, but tonight he wasn't great. Serving up healthy helpings of Sbisa's pizzas. Clendening was waving his stick and watching guys go by and the offensive numbers haven't shown up to counter-balance the poor defense. He seems a bit slow and runs out of gas. I like Corrado more than most guys currently in the line-up, but there's more at play than just skill and potential. The move probably makes sense behind the scenes for conditioning/rosteravailability considerations.
