Start time, as in hour of the day.  The funny thing, not one single link shown actually had the draft start time....But you had a good day though.

Thanks.  I'm still yet to find a source.  not on TSN, not on NHL, not on wiki.  I was going to resort to looking a week ahead on the TV.  But I figured it was around them.  Glad it's not during work hours, thanks for finding it

I actually found it on the Winnipeg Jets page:  http://jets.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=112327

"At 7:00 p.m., the 2016 NHL Draft will commence"

Edit:  Hmm... come to think of it.  It might be 5pm.  Winnipeg is CST.  My hunch is that the coverage starts at 4pm.  The #1 OA selection will take place at 5pm.

What does Arizona have to offer up to be picking at 4 our time?  7+20+OEL+?

The last thing I'd do is defend ForsbergTheGreat, but it actually took a fair amount of digging to find the start time of the draft.  Every site shows that it is on June 24th-25th, but almost none of them say what time.

Anyways, looks like a 4pm PST (7pm EST) start.

I do see now some of the links had lottery start times vs draft, but then again for someone who didn't want to search through this thread, not sure why he'd expect us to search for him.

But yeah, found it in my guide pretty quickly that it's 4pm PT on Sportsnet on the 24th.

I know it's been answered before,  but I don't feel like searching through all these pages..  What time does the draft start on the 24th?

starts at 4, but introduction blah blah blah, speeches, if Lucky Laffs will make their 1 pick 20 minutes in, and if lucky Canucks will be able to make their pick by around 5 pm.  Its literally 1 hour for 10 picks, from the 1st pick you know what I mean? Or at least averages out that way.

I didn't ask anyone to search. I asked if someone knew.

Who pissed in your cereal this morning?

If we're giving up our fifth overall in a deal for Girgensons I'd expect their ninth overall to be part of it as well. Or I really hope it would be, at least.

Time to go browntown. Brown is a Boss let's bring him home! I know I was opposed to him before but what the heck.

TKachuk, brown, sergichev, and maybe chicky or dubie I'm fine with.  Could use the next generation of brown.

Bet Detroit would be all over brown if they had the chance.  I think we're gonna turn heads.

Trade with MTL, their 9th and McCarron for our 5th. Draft Brown at 9, have two beasts in McCarron and Brown upfront.

Gallagher at 5'2" is more of a "beast" than Brown will ever be.

He's a small player in a huge body. That is not an impressive quality.

Perfect for the Flames though.

Have you seen the kid play or do you just base that off of hearsay? I watched a couple games and a lot of highlights on the kid when I heard Benning was interested in him and I tend to disagree. He uses his body well to shield the puck and make plays. He seems calm though, doesn't seem to play an overly aggressive game or lay out big hits if thats what you mean.

Super unrealistic, but posting just in case.

I had a dream last night that PITT traded for the 1st overall for their next two years of 1sts, a 2nd, a prospect, and one of their rosters centres.

As well, Dubois and Tkachuk went 3 and 4(I forget which order) which left pulijarvi for the Canucks.

We'll see.....

Benning's mind is funny. Don't be surprised he ends up trading our 5th with calgary for their 6th and Joe Colburne. Its a type of deal benning will make, anyhow my advice to vancity expect the unexpected when it comes to Benning.

A mind similar to Don Cherry, with a ego maniac Wiesbrod at your desk, and a quiet Linden who is their to keep the fanbase calm after. I will be surprised Benning impresses me at the draft, I am already expecting a stunt from this management.

Best dream ever lol TO gives up a franchise centre for late firsts and we get a top six winger to play next season. Major long shot for us but we all thought Jones would go 2nd if not 1st. What a start to the off season if we somehow by the grace of the hockey gods get JP.

If if this somehow comes true we need you to watch stamkos highlights every night for a few hours before bed.

I've watched a game, seen many highlights and other peoples opinion....enough to form my own, but room for error.

Calm, not aggressive, and no hitting is exactly what I mean. I like the opposite of these attributes. This is what makes Dubois effective. Passion, predatory aggression and hitting. Both are skilled.

Calm players make opponents play calm, predatory players make opponents make mistakes based on fear, intimidation and lack of time.

Brown might as well be 6'

I've watched him enough this year.  As much as I watched Sergachev.  He's a dominate player....when he wants to be, which just doesn't happen on a consistent bases.  He's not overly physical, you would think with his frame he's be like an Lindros and over power everyone (considering his competition is still filled with 16-17 year olds that barely weight 165lbs). but instead of being a huge force all the time you start to see Taylor Pyatt creep in.

Sounds perfect for the Flames.
